I do not understand the underwhelming reviews on this item. It is wonderful. In the past I have purchased but returned a few Lori Goldstein pieces. I prefer more fitted styles. But this sweater is the best of all worlds. First, it is lightweight--light enough for steamy southern summers when you just need something to cover the arms or to take into an air conditioned environment. It is lose and airy, in fabrication and style. But it is also fitted across the back waist so that is does not hang on the body, but defines the waist. The slubby fabric with woven stripes is very sophisticated in white. I love it! I wear it with sun dresses and tank tops, and take it with me into the theater and restaurants. I wear a 1x in most Isaac styles, and 1x in this fits perfectly. I am thinking about getting a grey cardigan to wear with a black tank top and capris. Sounds like a new ensemble to me!

I love the open weave and the light weight material. The length is great and looks good casually or as a dressy sweater. Athens 3/4 sleeves are nice. during summer when you're in and out of air condition. Would love to have one in white also.

By the time I got around to ordering this, it was already sold out in all colors in the XXS except Pink Sorbet. That wasn’t my first color choice, but bought it anyway. And now that I have it, I’m glad I did because I really like the color. The fit and material are nice and for me, it’s not only pretty but very functional. I use cardis throughout the summer just for a little modesty at work and for those times that it’s a little too cool indoors. But they have to be light enough to not smother me stepping out in 95+ degree weather. I’m pretty sure I want another one of these so am hoping to log on one day and hit the sweet spot of finding it in my size, in white, and on EZ Pay. Oh!--and it’s made in the USA. I would love to see more of the designer brands here bring more items also manufactured here. That or transparency with manufacturing processes in factories abroad--I just want to know that the person who physically made my garment is being paid and treated fairly and I’m willing to pay more for that.

Loved how this item looked on the video. Waited for it in white 3X. But when it arrived and I tried it on, I was underwhelmed. I have lots of LOGO and love it, but this one didn't work for me. Firstly, it was cut skimpy, which I find is always a problem in Lori's cotton items. Thought this one, which is a mix with polyester, might be okay. The sleeves were a bit tight and it seemed to pull across the shoulders. I like the style of the back elastic waist, have other LOGO pieces made that way and consider them slimming. But this one was just too skimpily cut. NO WAY the length was 34 3/4. I had hoped to wear it over some of my LOGO tanks this summer, but not to be. It will be going back.

First LOGO purchase - saw this on air presentation and wasn't sure of the sizing. Ordered White in XL. 5'7" 190ish. Did not notice any quality issues out of the packaging, fits as expected. No manufacturing defects that I noticed with sewing or fabric. I ordered this item for the simple reason of a cover up at work with sleeveless tops at the office. The burnout type material is hard to find in stores - and perfect for the 90 degrees+ with a gaggillion % humidity. This item is perfect for just those conditions. I agree with others the price point is to high and is making it so that - even though I want to order another in the Chrome - i will not given the price point. I have similar type tops from a brick and mortar store that are similar in price - i would expect that price point in a store - given the costs structure for brick and mortar. This should be priced lower.

One star for the color. It is actually white, not cream. So awful. It is truly the worst thing I have ordered.

Pretty drape, but material just doesn't match the price point. It is simply too shear and don't care for back design....doesn't quite cover properly.

I agree with others on how expensive Lori's items are getting but the quality seems to be going down..A lot of disappointments in this cardigan for me. Fabric looks rather inexpensive, and near the seam on one side there is a couple of small holes that I am afraid will get bigger because of the fabric being extremely delicate. The gathering (elastic) in the back of mine is way to high and sewn uneven, does not look flattering from the back at all. Also the color chrome looked grey when this was aired and per the video but next to a true grey this has a lavender hue to it in certain lighting, is not a true gray in my opinion. Bottom line is way to much money for the quality.

Great material, nicely made, terrific style, but over priced. The cascading front is not unusual, but the gathered back makes this very attractive and different. I got the white and I am sure I'll wear it a lot with many sleeveless tops. I wear a size large and think this runs true to size. I'm giving this four stars since I feel the price is too high.
Please do away with "Permission to Play." It was kind of cute the first time but it's really juvenile and annoying now.

I used to love Lori Goldsteins clothes, but lately they are not made as well as they were before......Looking forward to receiving this jacket and as the last jacket of hers I bought, the left front hangs lower than the other side. I sew, and this is just not acceptable to wear! What has happened to quality control....the last 3 tanks of hers I just sent back today....all the same size and none of them measure the same....This material of the jacket is very CHEAP looking and poor quality......plus her clothes are getting too expensive for the quality of items she is selling.. I loved her vest (A235325) and the cardigan with the double chiffon ruffles on bottom.....Please bring the vest back and in more colors....it was flattering and great quality......It is too expensive to buy these clothes and just have to send them back because of mistakes.....

This is the second cardigan from LOGO (the first was the chiffon back, which I returned) where the embellishment in the back of the garment and length ACCENTUATE your rear and chunky middle! I am 5'9" and 200 lbs. If you are pear or apple shaped, I think it flares out and it is shorter than most cardigans. I got the pink and I decided to use it as my summer jacket which I will probably wear with black pants and a more fitted top. It is pricey but well made.
