Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Phone The third Tracfone at our house, this is my favorite. Big screen, very thin phone. Takes great photos. The sim card failed after two weeks, but Tracfone sent a replacement card promptly. Easy transfer of everything from old phone using Transfer Wizard, worked just like they said in the demonstration. My husband and I both have Tracfones, highly recommend. 10-22-16
Rated 1 out of 5 by Really had high hopes for this phone! Needing to save some serious money, I really had high expectations and hopes for this phone. Today, less than two months in, after learning to use an Android, my battery is fully charged, but the phone wont come on! It has always been slow, but it is totally dead. Now I cannot even delete my personal information that is on the phone before I return it! I am a very careful person, but the rose gold case I chose, is cracked and peeling already. Enough said. It has been very carefully cared for. Never dropped, etc. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed, and I have to pay to return it. 10-22-16
Rated 3 out of 5 by Less money = poor customer service I have been using Tracfone for a little over a decade and so has my family. So when my yearly card came due on my old phone i decided to upgrade and get my third one ( i keep my phones for a long time cause they have been reliable) and go for a smartphone. The screen resolution is great and the response time is so much better than my old LG and I can finally text and load apps with ease and without having to pay for an expensive phone plan. It doesn't seem as sturdy and is less compact than my old phones were though. I am a light user and mostly carry mine for security and piece of mind along with some games. That being said the trade off for the lower price is the Customer Service from India. Gone are the days when you could manage your phone and upgrade to a new one from the Tracfone website. I have called Customer Service numerous times on different occasions for other phones in the past, but setting up this phone and transferring my minutes has been the worst experience I have ever had with Tracfone. Usually they are polite but many are hard to understand and you can tell they are working with scripts and slow computers and time limits and have to refer to a "supervisor" for anything that is not straightforward and simple. Setting up a phone or solving an issue will cost you at least an hour of your time. I have already called twice to straighten my minutes transfer on this phone and i still have to call yet a third time tomorrow because they couldn't transfer all my minutes from my old phone at one time. I also don't like the "app" because I have multiple phones on my online account at Tracfone and when i log in the app shows another family member's phone and their minutes and data instead of mine. The customer service department was clueless as to how to remedy this. So i can see my remaining minutes and data on my phone only if i DONT log in to the app, how dumb is that? Also if you do not have a smart phone as equal to or as capable as this one you cannot use the data transfer to upgrade that they brag about on air. My old LG is only 4 years old and could not download the app or do the transfer. So basically you are sacrificing some convenience and time but saving 400 dollars vs a carrier plan. So if you willing to put up with the customer service to save money this is a nice phone. 10-21-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by SD Card Nice phone working well so far for the last two months. Note, the internal memory is only 8GB. I am close to running out of storage with just low photos and no video or music. This Tracfone does not come with a microSD Card. 10-21-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best phone so far Excellent phone, great purchase. Easily to operate, same quality as Samsung but much less expensive Love it! 10-20-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Unbelievable I love it. This phone takes the place of my tablet for many tasks. Screen is large enough and response time is excellent. Just as good as a friend's much more expensive phone and service. 10-20-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by LG Premier Tracfone 5.3" Smartphone Received the phone yesterday at 3pm and was up and running by 5pm after charging a hour it takes some time to insert the micro SD Card I took from the old phone, might as well install that if you have one before you assemble the phone battery and cover while the case is open, it fits directly over the Sim Card. I tried to activate online at the Tracfone web site and ran into some confusion, I activated my previous Tracfones in this manner and this is the first time I had to call Tracfone, however they got it activated the first call, remaining minutes and service date from the old phone was transferred instantly, no problem, and every thing works on the new phone. As for the phone performance every thing is excellent, including the sound, hearing the other end and them hearing you which I have seen some negative reviews here. If the phone last a year I'll be happy with the purchase. I buy a new Tracfone each year rather than purchase time and have been satisfied with Tracfone for at least 5 years . So, my phone cost about $100 a year instead of $500, can't beat that. 10-19-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great First Smartphone As an older , low tech by choice person, I am very happy with my first smartphone purchase. This phone is easy to use, the photos are of good quality and I like the larger screen. I use the phone for basic calls and a bit more. I bought the phone because I was VERY tired of paying high monthly phone bills that just kept increasing. My friend told me how happy she was with Trac phone and I feel that I have made the right decision. Liberating in fact. The only negative was that I could not use it when I went on vacation to Mexico. I really do not consider that a negative, however, unless you travel internationally often. I am excited about learning more about this phone. When I ordered it the cost was a little more than expected because of " a new California warehouse charge" which I thought was a bit odd. All in all ...this phone has been is a very good experience! 10-19-16
