The phone is fine.
However, when we purchased the phone, QVC advertised it as having an if sold separately price of $577,76 when it later divulged that it was only $417.68 - quite a difference, and I still believe that number is too high.
Do your homework.

Tracfone messed us on activating so I had to call back the next day. I was forced to buy time to the tune of $11.00 to unativate and reactivate. So, my service date went to 10-23-2017 and they turned my phone off on 10-23-16 instead of 10-23-17. If that wasn't a battle, they took away 95% of my text, data & phone time. I am waiting to see if they give my minutes back to me. What a nightmare. Just beware.

I bought the LG Premire tracfone and I love it. I was a bit sceptical about it, but now I can't believe how happy I am. The transfer from my old carrier could not have been easier. It really is a easy as stated on QVC.

I purchased a similar Tracfone from QVC in September. If you want to download apps, then prepare to buy more memory. 8GB doesn't get you very far. The learning process is long for a person buying their first smartphone. The handbook explains how to use a couple features, but not all. Good luck if you're not tech savvy. I don't think I'll ever figure it all out.

I have had 2 other LG Tracfone"s. I can't get service on this New phone anywhere very well, my old phones always had service and clear calls this new one I can not hear the people I call nor can they hear me very well. I have a Nokia Tracfone and it is very clear and works for calls great. I guess i will use my new one for Text only since I changed my service to it already. Really miss my other LG. It has other great features. I would still recommend to people in other areas.

This is not meant to disparage Tracfone. It is a great company, and I had one for MANY years. It was excellent, so I don't doubt the company. It was truly a phone (nothing else) and so easy to use.
But modern advancements make it necessary for the company to tweek how you view the minutes, the set up etc.
This phone does not have any way to see how many texts/minutes/etc individually. A real disappointment. I feel you need instant access to this when you use a pay-as-you-go phone.
Harder now to set up.
And sending it back was an eye opener. There are new rules on how to send back the phone with the battery. Because this may change, check with the post office before you pack it up. I wish I had done that.
This may work for someone else, but for me, it did not fit my needs.

The coverage was not even close to what they say. Only 14 miles from home told me I was roaming. The area shown was all in green. Getting sent back.

The phone itself was ok. The problem I had was with the customer service I received or I should say didn't receive from TracFone, so I returned the phone. I was very disappointed that TracFone was not able to give good customer service. I would not recommend them to others. I would rather pay more than deal with them!!
