I bought this can opener two years. Last week I threw a can of food away as it wouldn't open. I figured it was the can but tonight it happened again though other cans were able to be opened earlier in the week. Then I perused the reviews and saw I'm not alone. They seem to last one to two years. NOT long enough for me to buy again.

Love, Love , Love this item....
I received this opener a couple days ago and couldn't wait to use it. Yah, puppy needed to be feed, I needed to open a can, I couldnt believe it, never seen a top of can look like this. Opened easy and no sharp edges, u couldn't tell you had used a opener on the can, and the lid lifter on the side was awesome too. Need to save my money to buy all my children one for their homes, no one should be without one of these :)

I consider myself pretty smart but for the life of me find it difficult to open a can with this.

This Is Way Too Cool!
I LOVE LOVE this can opener! It is soooo easy to use. The first time I used it, I didn't think it worked. You cannot see where the cut is. And if you push down on the lid it doesn't move. You have to use the pincher device feature on the opener on the rim of the can and pick up and it comes right off. No messes and the can opener is perfectly clean. I instantly threw out my other two can openers, which were all rusty and hard to turn to open a can. This would be perfect for the camper. Since it has all the other opener features too.

Did not work for me!
I had rotator cuff surgery and my arm took a while to get the strength back. Used this opener four times twice on water bottles and twice on jars. No luck with the opener on any of the items I need to open. Very disappointed.

Great little gadget!
After trying this can opener I threw my old one out.This is safe~no sharp edges on the can, it's clean~no food gets on the opener. and it's cute. no one cares if we leave it out on the counter.

LOVE IT!!!
I have had so much bad luck with other can openers not holding up, both manual and electric. This works like a dream! No more sharp edges to get cut on, and no worrying about the can lid falling into the food. Gross! And it is very easy for me to use with my clumsy hands due to MS. Thanks Kuhn-Rikon and QVC!

Best Ever!
Hands down this is the best can opener I've ever purchased. It is simple and easy to use. This can opener has eliminated the possibility of getting cut with the detached lid. I would recommend it to any one, even those with arthritis. It's a good value as well.

Fantastic
I had the older version of this, and thought that it couldn't be improved upon, but I'm to say that I was wrong. Not only is it a can opener ,but it is also a bottle and jar opener, a pull tab lifter, and jar seal breaker, and they are all on this one handy tool. It's made of metal, so it will last a lifetime. The best feature is that it never touches the food, and the lids of the cans can be used again. I would recommend this to everyone.
