May be a health hazard Love the pot. Would give it 5 stars ... except ... the screw in the top rusts! Be sure to dry the pot competely between use. I can't leave it on the stove (with water in it) like a tea kettle. I'm going to look for a rust proof screw to replace the one sold with the pot. 06-11-12
Love I LOVE my TALL steamer---does everything from Asparagus, hard boiled eggs to boiling water. It's pretty on my stove, ALL the time, and doesn't take up huge space as does a tea kettle. It's so useful and pretty that I bought a blue one for granddaughter's bridal shower! 04-11-12
PERFECT ALL AROUND POT! Great little pot. Everything you can think of will fit in the little, yet big inside pot. I love the basket for steamed veggies! The handle however does get hot, but most do, just use a pot holder. The pour sprout is great for soups. 04-06-12
So So I expected the pot to be better, the handle was loose I keep tighting the screw and it comes loose again, the pot is heavy and takes a long time to heat the water. 04-02-12
THE PERFECT POT! I love this pot! Already boiled eggs in this and it was so easy! My only wish is that the handle and lid topper were made of silicone. they get hot. 04-01-12
Great Work Horse of a Pot Love this little pot...arrived this week and I have used it several times already...boiled eggs and potatoes for potatoe salad, did corn on the cob, asparagus, hotdogs, soup, spaghetti sauce, just the handiest little pot...and love the wire basket - that was so easy with the eggs and potatoes - didn't have to try and fish the food out of the pot - just lift and done. 03-21-12
LOVE MY LITTLE POT! I purchased it with the idea of makeing a pot of soup and it would not take up a lot of room on the stove while it was simmering. It was perfect for that. But the 4th time I used it, I left it too long and the liquid cooked down, and the food at the bottom was scortched. And as I was washing it up I was dreading the thought of it being ruined and the bottom surface being all burnt up. Well to my surprised the inside was not marred and the outside cleaned right up with a bit of elbow grease. I'm purchasing another one for my niece's wedding gift. 03-10-12
Handy little cookpot This is a great little item. It's great for steaming asparagus or boiling eggs. The basket makes it easy to lift out the contents. The drainer/lid is very convenient. It seems to be well-constructed to last a long time. It fits my smallest burner perfectly. 03-08-12
BOILED EGG MAGIC!!! I bought 2 of these. A blue (for water) and a yellow (for eggs). I don't use the basket for the blue one. I fill the blue one with water and put in freezer till water gets slushy. Then I boil about 18 eggs in the yellow one. When the water starts to boil, take it off the heat and let it set for about 8 minutes. Now, this is the fun part: put the blue one in the sink so it won't make a mess, then pick up the basket of eggs and put the basket in the blue pot of icy water. Keep the eggs submerged for about 10 minutes. The eggs will now peel perfectly! 02-25-12
So Sad I have been wanting to order this for a while and finally decided to do it. I got it and it was beautiful and very high quality. The problem.....I have an induction cooktop and this would not work on it. It would be really nice if during the presentations the hosts would indicate if they cookware works on induction. I am very sad but have to send it back! 02-09-12
How pretty I purchased this pot mainly to sit on top of my stove to bring in some new color. It matches my new toaster and has cheered up my kitchen. I may even use it sometime. Love it. 02-01-12
Handle came off after fourth use I bought this primarily for a tea pot and it worked well until the fourth use and washing when the handle came off in my hand. The handle looked like it was glued and covered with a screw to make it seem that the handle was secured to the pot. I wouldn't even waste the money to send it back. I have another planter. 01-30-12
