I ordered these thinking they would be easy to use but, they are VERY TIGHT and very hard to open. David made them look so easy to use but you need two hands to open them wide enough to put on anything and that is not easy! Then you need someone to hold the container so that you came keep it in place to put the lids on. Being a person with arthritis in my hands, these were not a good purchase for me!

I know I recently purchased these stretch covers and have found them useful for many items, but my best use so far has been the fact that I am single and when I cook, found them extremely handy for like only wanting to use half an onion, large one fits perfect for other half of onion (and NO ODORS) in my fridg. either. Have also found if I purchase a larger can of baked beans, instead of dirtying a lock & lock for other half a can of baked beans I just slip on one of these handy dandy covers & use my other half of canned baked beans the next meal and hence, didn't dirty yet another lock & lock bowl...Less dishes makes me :) Very good product and even have offered some to friends because a few to many for one person, but that is a Good thing, more is always better.
Rated 5 out of 5 by fussybuyer Nifty little stretchies!
I love these things! I use the large stretchies to cover my 32 oz. containers of yoghurt. The green for the cans of diet pepsi and other opened cola cans. The small yellow for the 6 oz. containers of yoplait and I have used the very small blue to cover opened bottles of wine, etc. You do have to use both hands and these are not for someone with arthritis issues. All in all, these truly have been so nifty and I use them daily.

First time I used it to cover a can of organic pumpkin, my finger put a hole in it. The hole was far enough down so the stretchie still kept the pumpkin covered. However, when I took the cover off, it totally spilt and had to be thrown away. I then used a larger size. These are not sized as noted, are flimsily made, making them unuseable and expensive. I just threw them out! Very disappointed!!
Rated 4 out of 5 by mbfa good for small containers
I am happy with these covers but I have only used them on containers so far, not fresh produce. They are a bit hard to stretch and put on but once they are on they are spill-proof. You have to be really careful putting them on containers filled with liquid so test out the different sizes on an empty container before adding the liquid. Smallest size is perfect for wine bottles.
I wouldn't recommend ordering if you have dexterity issues such as arthritis in your fingers/hands.

Boy what a waste of money. I cannot use these and they are impossible to stretch over anything. I was able to get a green lid over a normal drinking glass but that was it and it was hard. I'd just about had juice everywhere. So if you are thinking of getting these beware you need three hands and a lot of muscle.

first thing I tried was a small cucumber...worked ok. Next tried ripe avocado. Had to use extra large (really?) as even the large smashed fruit. Now not so happy. This morning wanted to cover cantaloupe. Needless to say, the plastic wrap had to be used. If it takes the xl for avocado, no way it would cover cantaloupe. I guess they're ok for SMALL items, but not worth the price. These need a design revamp to cover larger fruits and veggies. Back to the drawing board!

Stretchies are too hard to put on anything that has a liquid or is soft. They don't stretch much and require two hands to put on, leaving no way to stabilize a bowl or dish. They work okay once applied, but took too long to use. I went back to plastic wrap for most items and use these only sparingly. I wouldn't get again.
