Kitchenaid Coffee Grinder Best Purchase Ever I have used this coffee grinder for many years. We use it every morning unless out of town. I would never buy any other and hope they never stop manufacturing them. I have seen where some people say they do not grind all the beans. I move my unit gently back and forth at the end of grinding as it sets on a plastic counter topper (no rubber feet touching counter under counter topper bottom to prohibit this). You can just push it back and forth with plastic underneath moving with unit to make sure the beans inside what few there are drop onto the grinder and then into the glass receiver as ground up. You want to be gentle so glass coffee receiver container does not come from under the grinded drop bean area. . Then I turn it on for a few seconds to grind any of the remaining beans up so they drop into the catcher glass container. About once every two months I remove the entire glass top (unscrew) and of course first take the glass coffee ground receiver container out from under the machine and wash both glass containers with hot soapy water. Meanwhile while the glass containers are drying. I then turn the unit upside down over paper towels and gently shake the grinder. There are maybe 2 or 3 that may drop out and some residue from continuous grinding left for a couple weeks possibly. Regardless this is just a cleaning up project that I choose to do twice a month. This is the best coffee bean grinder I have ever had and I will never go back to the manual or small electric grinders. They are just not worth the money and in time you will spend way more than this one costs by trying one after another. 07-10-13
ITS' THE TOP To paraphrase a Cole Porter Tune ("Its the Top"). I chanced upon this searching KitchenAid on QVC.com, in June 2012 (never seen it presented on TV) and decided to purchase ASAP. I have enjoyed it immensely, its' very well constructed, easy to use and clean; grinds my beans well and aroma from the beans grinding gets me going in the morning. This product is worth every penny, I spent on it. I also had to contact the manufacturer about a slight chip in the glass and KitchenAid's customer service was outstanding. I received a new bowl in less than four days after my call. Do not hesitate on this. I look forward to many mornings using and enjoying my ProBurr Coffee Mill. 11-06-12
Hubby LOVES this Burr Grinder I'm not a coffee drinker so can't appreciate all the 'ins and outs' of what a good coffee grinder is. However, I bought this for hubby after having two other, less expensive and just mediocore grinders. At first, he was concerned about the price and would it truly be any different than the other two but WOW!!! He is in love with this thing! As a Seattleite, he is a coffee 'junkie' and is SO particular about his coffee. He spends a great deal of time every Sunday taking care to grind the beans 'just so' and makes his own K-cups so that he can have his 'perfect' cup of coffee (or make his perfect travel mug each morning for his commute) each day. Hubby says that there is NOTHING out there like this grinder - with all its settings and the large capacity. Where once he was skeptical - now he is a solid, 100% happy camper and would NEVER go back to the less expensive, smaller, mediocore grinders that somehow just never did the trick! 02-08-12
WONDERFUL PRODUCT Yes, it is expensive. But all burr grinders are, and many are much more expensive than this one. I, too, had gone through numerous coffee grinders, mostly the kind that are actually mini blenders and leave you with an uneven grind and a lot of coffee dust. I finally decided that if I was going to purchase a burr grinder, Kitchenaid would be my choice, since they have such a great repuation for quality and making a product that lasts. I am so glad I bought this and would recommend it highly to anyone who loves a great cup of coffee. 01-23-11
love this!!! This is the best!!! I used to buy cheap ones and run to the stone in a panic when they broke. If one lasted a year good, This one I have had quite a while (years). I love it!!! It works everytime and while the video mentioned a brush to clean it, I never got one and I have never cleaned mine and if it ever stops running, I know to try to clean it with whatever brush I can find, Thank you KitchenAid for another stellar product. 12-13-10

Worth All The Money! This was bought because they say fresh ground coffee is the best! Well they are right! We was grinding our beans at the store, the problem with that is if the person in front of you is grinding a differant kind you might get that mixed into your coffee...........YUCK! I would rather grind every pot fresh at home. This grinder is more then we excpected. Don't be afraid of buying this one you will love it!!!!!!!!!!!!! 02-12-10
great mill! this is the only coffee mill that will grind the flavored coffee beans... i have used this model because of that fact, over 4 years now. easy to fill - easy to clean - easy to use! also, this is a very good price! i paid over $300.00 for mine. i have always wanted another one... maybe now with this price, i won't hesitate! 06-18-09
