Crumble Topping

1 stick of butter or margarine, cold and cut in 1-inch chunks
1/2 cup flour
1/3 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 cup quick oats
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 cup of whole nuts
1/2 cup of rice crisp cereal

In a food processor or with a pastry blender, pulse together the butter, flour, brown sugar, oats, and nutmeg. Once the butter is in pea-size chunks, add nuts and pulse twice. Add the rice crisp cereal, pulsing just enough to stir it in. Sprinkle over fruit, then cover with a paper towel. This prevents splatters, holds in heat, and allows the steam to escape so the topping doesn't get mushy. Microwave on 70% power for 2 – 6 minutes, depending on size of the bowl and density of the fruit. Serve with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream on the side.
Note: This topping is convenient to have on hand for entertaining. It can be made in quantity and stored in the refrigerator or freezer. It can be used over peaches, berries, and other fruits.

Cajun Chicken Burger Recipe

1 clove of garlic
3 green onions, cut into 4 pieces each
1 small onion, quartered
1/4 cup green bell pepper, chopped in large chunks
1 lb. of chicken breast pieces
1 tsp. hot sauce
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Ground black pepper to taste

In the bowl of your food processor, pulse together the garlic, green onions, and small onion. Chop everything 3 – 4 pulses. Next, add the green bell pepper and pulse again about 3 – 4 times. Add chicken breast pieces, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and ground black pepper. Chop until chicken has desired consistency, and form into four 4-inch patties. Broil or grill 4 – 6 minutes per side, or to desired doneness. Makes 4 servings.

K129587 - KitchenAid Food Processor Thick Slicing Disc 5 5 3 3
My daughter loves it! I bought my daughter the 9-cup KitchenAid food processor for Christmas. I also bought this blade to go with it, since some of the reviews of the processor mentioned that the slicing blade was thin. I asked her today how the thick slicing blade was. This is the response she emailed to me: "I used the thick blade last night and it was AMAZING! I chopped a cucumber in less than 5 seconds!!! " I'm back to get the food processor and thick slicing disk for myself. 01-08-12
Perfect thickness! I have the 9 cup KitchenAid Food Processor and have the thin slicing blade that came with the processor. I needed a thick slicing disc for Scalloped Potatoes and this works awesome. I went through 6 pounds of potatoes in seconds and every slice was perfect! It would have taken me FOREVER to slice with a knife and they would have been irregular slices for sure! Love it! 01-11-11
Absolutely Wonderful! Unbelievable how great this works. I used it to slice my potatoes for scalloped potatoes and it took longer to peel them than slice them. Another great product from KitchenAid and QVC. It is also nice to be able to buy this disc separtely rather than having to buy the 5 piece set and only wanting one. 04-02-10
