Rated 1 out of 5 by from Save Your Money !!! I couldn't wait until they came out with the Flex Edge Beater for the 6 qt mixer. What a waste of time and money. It does NOT fit my KP26M1XFQOB even though it states on the box it would. It is so tight in the bowl, I can't even properly attached the beater. Bought in November, had surgery and couldn't get a chance to use until January. There goes $40 down the drain. Ready to dump my mixer too!!! Sorry I couldn't give it a zero rating.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lack Luster Perfofmance I have been wanting this beater since I first saw it several years ago. But I'm disappointed with the performance. I recently made a cake for New Year Eve. It seemed to cream the sugar and butter nicely and was keeping the outside of the bowl wipped. Then added the remaining wet ingredients followed by the dry. I've been a pastry Baker for years and am very familiar with how things are supposed to go together. When I dropped my bowl and removed the beater preparing to fold in the egg whites I found almost a third cup of butter around the cone at the bottom of the bowl and also wedged into the recessed countour of the beater rubber edge. I had to now use a stiff rubber scraper to get it off the surfaces, then back on the mixer to try and get all the ingredients Incorporated as best as possible. I certainly was not expecting this with the beater I've been wanting. I'll keep using the basic, standard beater for pastries and this for potatoes. :'(. So sad it didn't work out the way I had hoped.
