A Nice Toaster Oven A toaster oven, is a toaster oven. And that is what it is used for, at least that is what I use it for mainly. I don't really COOK in it. I mainly use it to warm things up in it that I don't like in the microwave. Especially breads, like pizza and biscuits, and good breads from the bakery! But, this toaster oven is the BEST by far I have ever bought! I got my Kitchen Aid from another customer, but I usually always buy everything from QVC, but it is the same one! I love it! It is very pretty with my kitchen, also. I really like the door on it, also, it closes very well, and it doesn't have those awful hinges, like some of the toaster ovens do! 11-15-09
very nice oven I have had this oven for two weeks, I use a toaster over at least twice a day. it is well built and the broiler pan is much heavier than on less espensive models. the crumb drawer that pulls out fronm the front is much easier to use than on less expensive models. Only two drawbacks, when baking the handle gets very hot you must use potholder to handle it and it would be nice if it was a bit higher for baking some items. overall, was worth the money 10-01-08
Great Product! I have had this for about 1 year and it is great when you have kids! The kids can work this little oven better then the big one. Most of the time they only do somethng that is small and it is great for that. I got this so I would not have to turn by big oven on. I got it for small things and it is GREAT for that!! 09-22-08
Good product I enjoy using this oven. I have been using the bake feature and have been very pleased with the results. It also doesn't heat up the entire kitchen as a regular oven would. I have been baking four chicken breasts at a time (Stuffin' Gourmet) and have found it to cook very evenly. The slide-out crumb tray on the bottom is a great feature and I have found the oven very easy to clean. It is small, doesn 't take up much room and gets the job done. 08-26-08
Great to look at, but doesn't work very well I have had my KitchenAid Free Standing Mixer for over 20 years and have absolutely loved it. So, when it came time to purchase a new toaster oven, I was immediately drawn to the KitchenAid name. Plus, this toaster oven looks gorgeous and goes well with the other stainless steel appliances in my kitchen. Once home, I immediately wanted to try it out. In went the bread, and out came toast---over 5 minutes later! No kidding. It kind of "baked" the bread into toast. I have learned that in order to have toast in the morning before work, I have to "warm-up" this oven. Even then, it doesn't work so well and I am always disappointed with how long it takes to make toast. Baking in this oven is ok, but the top and bottom elements do not cook the food evenly, and have resulted in items with over-cooked areas. 03-26-08
