Through Thick & Thin

Learn more about how to use this KitchenAid food processor with these tips and tricks. There's also a recipe to get you started!

Master the art of slicing, dicing, kneading, shredding, and more with the versatile KitchenAid Exact Slice 9-cup food processor. Its Exact Slice System features an external adjustable slicing thickness control that allows you to change your slice from thin to thick--no need to remove the blade assembly.

The 3-in-1 wide-mouth feed tube accommodates food of all shapes and sizes, including large items like tomatoes, cucumbers, and potatoes--with a minimum of sectioning or slicing--because the less prep, the better! Drop in smaller foods by removing the narrow pusher from the medium--there's even a hole in the narrow pusher for drizzling oil. Plus, the 9-cup size is just right for everyday jobs, while the 3-cup mini work bowl and blade make the cut for smaller jobs. From KitchenAid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EZ to use & Clean I love my Kitchen Aid processor/slicer. And the extra smaller bowl makes cleaning up a breeze. I works great, stays on the cabinet without walking and makes short work of dicing, chopping and pureeing. I put two bushels of charred, seeded & peeled hatch chilis in the freezer using it, made smoothies for the kids and hubby and used it to mix my tortilla dough. It's light weight and you will be please with it. I it now added to my other well used Kitchen aid products in use since the early 70's.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Greatest Kitchen Invention Ever I have to start by saying that I sent the first unit back because I thought it was defective. It would not start. The 2nd one arrived and I found it odd that I had the same problem and so decided to call KitchenAid directly. Turns out that the feed tube has to be exactly in line with the buttons on front of the machine for it to work. Who knew??!!! I knew I wasn't alone because other reviewers on here had the same problem. So the trick is to line everything up exactly as shown in the picture. Now I am wondering how did I ever live without a food processor? This unit is surprisingly quiet, runs smoothly and my prep time is now like zero time! I'm in love!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Huge Disappointment!!!! I purchased this item in January for my new home. Today was the first day to try it out.... it will not work. I now look at the reviews and a lot of others are having the issue. Thanks Kitchen Aid and QVC! $140.00 down the drain. Buyer beware!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Upset I couldn't wait to get my Kitchen Aid. It came, we put it together and it didn't work. The Lid would not line up with safety connection to turn on. My husband could put a knife where it was and it would start up. I sent it back and waited for a replacement. Who would have thought I would have the same problem with the replacement! Again I am sending it back and wont ask for a replacement. Very disappointed!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wow For the amount of money I paid for this I would have liked that it expected it to last a lot longer. I used it about four times. When I went to do my slicing there was the part you have to use that makes everything turn got stuck and couldn't be removed. So yes now I'm looking at something different to do what I need to be done.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stopped working I purchased this about 2 years ago and used it occasionally. I went to use it today and it wouldn't do anything. Guess the motor died and with only 1 year warranty guess I will need to purchase something else now. I would suggest if you are thinking of getting this maybe look at a different brand.
