Through Thick & Thin

Learn more about how to use this KitchenAid food processor with these tips and tricks. There's also a recipe to get you started!

Master the art of slicing, dicing, kneading, shredding, and more with the versatile KitchenAid Exact Slice 9-cup food processor. Its Exact Slice System features an external adjustable slicing thickness control that allows you to change your slice from thin to thick--no need to remove the blade assembly.

The 3-in-1 wide-mouth feed tube accommodates food of all shapes and sizes, including large items like tomatoes, cucumbers, and potatoes--with a minimum of sectioning or slicing--because the less prep, the better! Drop in smaller foods by removing the narrow pusher from the medium--there's even a hole in the narrow pusher for drizzling oil. Plus, the 9-cup size is just right for everyday jobs, while the 3-cup mini work bowl and blade make the cut for smaller jobs. From KitchenAid.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a powerful machine Not happy with this purchase. The machine stops mid chop constantly and I have to re-seat the bowl or the blade or both. Not asking it to do particularly taxing stuff; in my case I needed to grate Parmesan cheese and make pie dough. I am starting to get the idea The name brand products sold on QVC are not the same as the same product we would purchase in retail.. this machine is lightweight, lightweight not being a good thing because the motor isn’t as powerful. I had an older kitchen aid with a 9 quart capacity that I got rid of it to upgrade to this machine that had an 11 quart capacity. Yet the new one is much lighter than the old one (that I bought in a retail store) The old one was terrific, never had an issue with it. I wouldn’t recommend this machine because it seems to be a cheaper version of the real thing and won’t be the kitchen workhorse that it should be.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Kitchen aid Slicer Normally, I would say how much I love Kitchenaid products (which I do) but this product is defective. Only one of the dicing disc work I thought I was doing something wrong but this time, I asked my husband to try it. He said something is not catching in the switch. I am slicing cabbage but unable to use the correct tool.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Big & bulky including all attachments I bought this to replace a Cuisinart I had for about 20 yrs. However, this is so large, it wouldn't fit in the space the Cuisinart used to fit. Additionally, all the attachments are also very bulky with no way to make them compact. The Cuisinart parts were made to fit together compactly and all fit easily in a drawer. I have a smallish house so don't have room for all. Am returning this and will purchase the Cuisinart again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this product This is a continuation of my review. A lot of people have been questioning whether the 9-cup processor has a dicer accessory kit like the 13-14 cup processor does. I called Kitchen Aid and was told that as of this time there is no dicer for the 9-cup processor. The accessory kit is for the larger processor only. It does not fit the 9-cup. Let's all hope they come up with the dicer for the smaller version.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from just opened up Just pulled out of box to use for first time. No power, won't work and can't return because husband bought in October and forgot about it. Past the 30-day. So upset.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best purchase ever I've never owned a food processor but I want to eat healthy beginning this year and that means adding a lot of veggies to my diet. I was so excited to see this KitchenAid Food Processor on QVC and the orange fit my decor perfectly. When I received my package I unpacked it with anticipation and Wow did I love what I saw in that box. I'm just getting used to the" how to" with this food processor but it has made things so much easier so far. I did purchase the latest edition of The Food Processor Bible by Norene Gilletz, this book is a must have, but as for my KitchenAid 9-Cup ExactSlice Food Processor, I love it ! Best purchase I've made in a long time. Couldn't be happier with the ease of food prep and look forward to making many wonderful meals made much easier now that I have this beautiful food processor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Processor Ever We had a wedding to prepare 5 kilos of cookies. Normally done by hand, the processor made this job a lot shorter and easier on the hands, I can see how I can use this processor for saving time making so many other things that I love to cook. Thank you so much for this processor.
