Go with the flow. KitchenAid masters maximum flavor with the pour-over coffee brewer. Unlike drip coffee makers that continuously flood the brew basket, this caffeine machine precisely heats and pulses the flow of water, steeping in the same manner as the manual pour-over process. The result is a clean, full-flavored coffee without diluting due to over-soaking. From KitchenAid.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The little things that matters Excellent qualité of coffee. Poor design of machine. It is very hard to read the water level. Wish the warming plate would stay on longer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good choice Decided to change my coffee maker from a single serve to this excellent coffee brewer. I love the smell of fresh brewed coffee, takes a little longer but the taste is worth it. This brewer also takes very little space on the counter. I really enjoy my new coffee maker! Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Love This Machine! For about a year now, we've been buying our coffee beans whole, and they're only roasted when an order is placed. We grind them only when we actually make coffee. I've wanted to take advantage of our fresh beans, and experience the so-called "coffee bloom", but I wasn't interested in a manual pour-over setup. I decided to try this machine, and wow... I can't believe I can get coffee this good at home. It's easy to fill, easy to operate, and easy to clean. My only wish would be for a larger carafe. We have too many requests for a second (or third!) cup when we have friends and family over. We'll done, KitchenAid! (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Shuts off immediately after brewing. Defective I love everything KitchenAid and I love the way this coffee maker makes the coffee . It is hot and good but the burner shuts off immediately after brewery and will not stay on therefore nohot coffee for any time at all. I hate I have to return because it's pretty too I'm sure this is defective because it should nevershut off immediately

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nothing Special The quality of the unit and production of brewed coffee is in keeping with what one expects of the brand name. However, in my experience the flavor of the coffee is not improved by the pour over brewing system; flavor is consistent with my previous drip coffeemaker. Coffee brands used are Peet's and Dunkin' Donuts. Ten ounces of water equals the 2 cup line on the water tank.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent coffee. After purchasing 4 Keurig machines, that all died (pumps failed) in less than a year, I was fed up with the K-Cup systems. I normally drink 2-3 cups in the morning and thought their ease of use made sense. I also owned a Chemex, which I knew made superior coffee. When my most recent Keurig started to fail, I went looking for something that would make the smooth tasting coffee that my Chemex did, but with a warmer, and found this. Outstanding coffee, easy to use, easy to clean. Only negative at all is the "chime" sound is a little loud when alerting me that my coffee is ready.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent The pour over process is the key to this coffee maker and the excellent coffee. The pour over means the machine runs some hot water into the grounds, then let's it steep. It repeats this process several times until complete. This allows every drop of flavor in your coffee to fully develop. I use a grinder each day with my preferred coffee beans to further enhance my coffee experience. I've had mine for almost a year. As with all of my other Kitchenaid products, the quality is there. This machine is also programmable to have your coffee ready when you get up. When it's time to clean, the "clean" light comes on to remind you to clean the system. Super easy to use and you will love your regular coffee better than with your previous machine.
