Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best idea! I finally don't have to wipe out my bowls before use! I can put cookie dough in the refrigerator to chill and use these rather than plastic wrap!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Kitchen Aid bowl cover I just received this item. The covers look real nice. Unfortunately, they will not fit my bowl. I read 5 & 6 qt. bowl covers at the top of the page, and assumed they would fit my 5 qt. bowl. I didn't see the note below excluding some models. So, be careful and make sure your model matches the ones listed. I just wasted $16.12!!! It would cost more to ship them back! I'm giving it one star only because I can't use them. If they had fit, I probably would have given them a 5 star rating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tight seal, good quality cover I am so glad I got these, and they shipped in 2 days. I like the look of my mixer on the counter and this is a great way to keep the bowl clean for the next time I use it. It'll be nice to keep dough cold in the fridge, too. I don't have a lot of cabinet space anyway plus I can even set the batter pour shield on top of the cover when it's on my mixer. I have the 6 qt lift stand mixer and I hope the spare one can fit my daughter's 5 qt tilt mixer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from appropriate accessory Two of these came with my stand mixer that my husband gave me many years ago and occasionally, I find that when I make cookie doughs that I put the bowls in the fridge with the dough in them to chill per recipe directions and it is nice to have something that fits the bowls with a tight seal. I prefer to wash them by hand, as the plastic seems to last better when washed this way rather than in the dishwasher, plus less chance of the dishwasher distorting or melting them...which would render them useless and at the price of most Kitchenaid items, that would not be a good thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A MUST HAVE!!!!!!! If you have a KitchenAid stand mixer you must get these! Keeps your mixer bowl clean and ready to go at all times. If it has been a while since you used your mixer you have to rinse it out to remove and dust that has settled in the kitchen. Now mine is clean clean clean. I actually have two of the bowls for when I am using my mixer I do not want to have to stop what I am doing to clean the bowl for another use. So nice that this set came in twos! Now both of my bowls are ready to go when I am.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great covers I love my kitchen aid covers. They seal the bowl nice and tight. They keep the bowl clean at all times from dust and crumbs falling into. That way my bowl is always clean when I go to use my kitchen aid mixer. Also I keep a small pretty plate on top of my cover. I've had mine for 6 years and they still look brand new. I would not want to be without them. They are so worth the price. I paid more than QVC's price for them. I've got to order a set for my daughter.
