Rated 5 out of 5 by Little Abbey Love this new design
I previously had the other chopper which was the taller unit and I like this new design much better.. I don't understand all the bad reviews on this as I have had mine now for quite awhile and have had no issues with it. I have Rheumatory Arthritis and not sure if you are trying to lift the bowl off but all I do is twist a little to the left and it pops right off. I do remove the cover first. It cuts quick and fast and clean up is a breeze . There is only 2 of us and this little chopper does what I need it to do . I also like the extra bowl you get with this as sometimes you want to chop more than 1 item so this definitely comes in handy. I would definitely recommend this is you are in need of a small chopper.

My sisters gave me a tiny chopper for Christmas 40 years ago and I loved it. Bought this chopper thinking I could use something larger, so I threw the "little chopper" away - dumb move. This chopper is very cheaply made and the top is very difficult to put on and take off. Wish I still had my old "little chopper". At least it was easy to use.

Spent more than an half of an hour trying to get the bowl off the base.
Rated 1 out of 5 by KathyA888 Not As Great As The Small KitchenAid It Replaced
I ordered this to upgrade my other small chopper by KitchenAid. Too bad I donated my other one before I tried this one. This one is not made as good as my older, more features but not enough to make up for the difficulty to use. Working with the body, blade, and top is very time consuming-difficult to remove the body and blade. I guess I am stuck with it and will struggle through using it rather than hauling out my big KichenAid.

I am trying a hammer and if that fails -- back it goes. I want it to work and would like to keep it. Disappointed in KitchenAid for the first time.

I just took this out of the box to clean it up before using it for Thanksgiving prep. I was able to get the top off. And after struggling for a bit I was able to get the blade out of the bowl without cutting myself. But I cannot the bowl off of the base. I have a little arthritis in my hands, and that was the reason that I bought this, thinking it would be easier than holding a knife to constantly chop things. But this is impossible to take apart. There's no handle on the bowl to hold on to, to get the bowl off of the base. Really poor Design. In reading the reviews, I see I'm not the only one who is having difficulty getting this thing apart. This is Going Back.

I love this chopper. With just the two of us at home, I don't really need a larger food processor for most things. This little chopper does the trick. I use it regularly to make coleslaw. It does a great job chopping the cabbage and is easy to clean when the job is done.
