K125142 - Keurig Platinum B70 Gourmet Coffee Maker
I LOVE KEURIG BUT!!
I love the Keurig concept have owned 5 brewers. I have to say the OLDER
ones worked better... really, I bought two before Christmas 2012.
The one Platnum Quiet Plus (?!) the one with 72 oz Water tank.. OK , it worked for
about 6 wks then flashed of an on for a couple weeks befoer I called Keurig. They graceously, immedieatly sent me a NEW UNIT YEA>>> well it has only lasted
6 days .. now it is actually HEATING the water in the brewer as it is brewing a cup of
coffee. I did this SO many times. Called them again, one rep tried to say NORMAL< evidently she never used one...Called back to another REP.. she said this unit had had
issues, now IS sending me yet a third unit.. I love Keurig and cant believe they are now
days having so many problems witth them.. WIsh me luck on this one. I hate to think of being without a working Keurig!!! try Cuisinart, brand they worked better I just had been using one by thme NO problems with them ... so try one !!
Great Brewer but...
I love this machine. I have had this in Red for 2 years now, however the motor is starting to go. I can hear it. It has a hard time pulling the water to brew.. I have cleaned it with vinegar several times hoping that would make it better with no luck. I can only hope it keeps going as I can't really afford to replace it. It sounds like the little engine that could. I'm hoping they've improved engine life since mine was built. Other than that, I love this machine, I use it every day and would recommend it.
I received mine a few weeks ago. It didn't work. I called the Keurig company for assistance. I was told to clean the needle. Why should I have had to clean the needle from an unused product. Once yhe needle was cleaned the coffee started to brew. I set it for 12 ounces, but onlt 6 ounces poored out. I had to redo the procees including cleaning the needles again. Plus, the squence of setting the buttons is a pain. IMO this machine is not worth the money. I gave it away.
Buy if you want a disposable coffee maker
I have had two in just over two years. The first stopped working after 10 months. Fortunately, it was still under warranty and they replaced it.
Got up this morning and the newer one (15 months old) stopped working.
If Keurig is going to sell a disposable coffee maker they need to lower the price. Ugh.
DID NOT MAKE IT THRU ONE MONTH!!!!!!!
I bought/received the Keurig Platinum in the beginning of December 2012...here we are January 2, 2013...It just stopped "cold" on me this past Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Back in the box it went and is headed back to QVC!!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS QVC??????? The worst product I have ever purchased from QVC! This purchase was a total waste of my time, not to mention my disbelief in that it worked for LESS than ONE MONTH!
Puirchased this when it was a TSV after purchaing the mini Keurig KCup. Really lLke this one because of the water tank, no spilling water on the counter. You can put the travel mug under the spout. I find that some of the coffee is very strong and needs more water that 10oz.. Also like the timer.riinse feature and hot water on demand. Gave the mini Keurig to my daughter.
Broke after 1 year
The coffee maker was great while it worked. After 1 year it stopped pumping water. For $200.00 it should have lasted longer than that. I'm going to miss it but will not buy another Keurig.
Best Purchase Ever
I love this coffee maker I bought this for my self I had it for 2 weeks and I ordered one for my parents I hope they love as much as I do thank you.
Not Worth the Price
I've had my Keurig Platinum for about 20 months. I got up this morning to brew a cup of coffee and it was DEAD! Checked several outlets, breaker and called Keuring. They said "I'm sorry, but your warranty has expired. We can offer you another one at a discounted rate of $79.95. That's $100 off the retail price." I'm not sure I even want to pay that to replace it after reading all the negative posts. It made a great cup of coffee when it worked, but for $180.00 it should last a LOT longer.
Very poor quality
I was so excited to get a Keurig. That didn't last. My first one never brewed a full cup of coffee no matter what setting you put it on it always brewed a half cup. Keurig did replace it and my second one had a problem with the pump, it would not pump water. When you brew 1 cup tha machine showed as empty, you had to turn off and then bnack on after every cup. The pump isn't strong enough to do the job correctly. I have gone back to my Bunn and love it as much as ever.
Shame on QVC
Really disappointed that this product is not backed by the company. For the price this coffee brewer should last longer than two years.
QVC should take a longer look at this product, not what I expected from QVC.
Very very disappointed.
bad purchase....please read
lasted 1 yr.....ever only used distilled water, yet descaled anyway hoping it would help...used paper clip to declog though not clogged....big waste of time...says brewing but only spurts out water when it feels like it.....worse than that was the customer service at keurig who only wanted to get me off the phone....good product when it worked but for the price 1 year isn't worth the money.......don't waste your time on this item.....
please heed the warning....i didn't even though friends had already had several quit on them....had to find out the hard/costly way!
