On the fence.... I LOVE the first kettlenetics set, but I can't decide if it's worth it to keep this one. As a previous poster said, the 8lb kettlebell is a big jump up from 4lb-only two people in the DVDs are using the 8lb weight included with this set. Michelle continues to use the 4lb bell from her first system throughout the routine-that should tell you something! The dance workout is not more difficult than the dvds in the first set (I would say it's even easier), but the body blast dvd is very challenging. I like using the 8lb weight along with the dvds from the first kettlenetics system, but I'm not sure it's worth the price just for the weight, since I probably won't workout to the dvds from this system. Based on the dvds, it's understood that you already own the previous system. If you do buy this set, just make sure you've mastered the basic moves. 01-06-10
A workout routine that really works I purchased this set to build a home gym after getting frustrated with driving an hour with the back and forth driving and then having to wait in lines to use the equipment at the gym. I started out with the 4 lb. weight, but found that wasn't challenging enough, so I purchased some extra kettle bells at a local retail store to use with the DVDs. The 8 lb. weight was a big jump from the 4 lb. weight with the starter set, so I would recommend getting a 5 lb. or 7 lb. weight to do the workout until you build up the strength. The workout routine is fun and very challenging. After two months, I toned up all over and lost 15 lbs. I highly recommend this for someone wanting a change from the gym for something that really works. 01-03-10
Great!!! These workouts are great. They do move faster than the first workouts do but that's because they are the advanced workouts. The bell is 8 lbs. instead of the 4 lbs. and it would probably be best to master the other Kettlenetics workouts before moving on to these. I would start with the first program and then get this one, or just do what I did and buy both so that you have the advanced progam ready to go when you are ready to do more. These workouts are excellent and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!! 12-02-09
Just OK I have the original 4 lb kettlebell with the dvds and they seem to be much better than these. The heavier kbell is nice, but I'm not fond of the dvds. Not at all like the other ones. It would have been better if you were able to purchase the 8lb kbell alone for a lower price. But I LOVE the original set! 10-10-09
