Very Disappointed
The sizing was way off on the dress, the cross cross ruching going over the breast area was horribly unflattering. The length was over, I'm 5'8" tho. The attached brown belt is what ultimately sent the dress back to QVC. It's very cheap looking and just made the dress ugly:(

AMAZING!!
This dress is AMAZING! Very flattering, and slimming for all body types. I am 5'5'' ordered an XL and will not have to hem - although I thought that I would after reading the reviews - wearing with a small heal sandal. Clinton Kelly keep re-designing this dress in different colors/belts - every woman should own one! I'll add a shrug for evening...perfect!

Great Summer Dress!
At 39 years old, this is my first maxi dress in about 20 years. I am 5'3" barefoot, 90 pounds and a chest of 32C. I ordered the blue in the XXS. OMG! The fit on the chest is snug, which I prefer, so that I do not get the feeling that the dress is going to fall off. The built-in ties in the back can be cinched tight to fit my 21-inch waist. It was waaaaay too long and I had to spend $20 to get it hemmed, but that was okay. I plan to wear it to work on causal Fridays, with a white denim jacket, or on its own on weekends when the Louisiana summer heat hits us! I had it hemmed so that I can wear it with my 3-inch platform wedges. Adorable!! Love it!
First Clinton Kelly purchase and I hope that the sizing will be consistent so that I can try some additional pieces from him.

LIke it was made for me!
I love this dress! It's very elegant, yet ladylike sexy. I'm 5' 8" & with high heels it fits me perfectly. Shorter gals would of course, have to hem it, but it's an easy knit that shouldn't be very hard to hem. I bought the blue one. I'm going to order the red one next.

You just sometimes have to....
Okay, so I haven't worn a maxi dress since I was a teenager ( now 52) but I found this dress striking in its simplicity with just the right touch of texture to keep it interesting. I have to agree with the other reviewers that this dress is way too long ( hint here guys we 're not all runway models). Only being 5'2 I did believe it was worth the investment of alterations. I am also short waisted so I had to have the shoulder seams shorten as well. My point is, if you like this dress, but are not 5'10, you may have to spend more to get it just right. The fabric has a very nice drape, so it hangs great. I love mine now and believe I'll have a dress I can wear for a long time.

Since I don't wear 6" heels ..........
Here I go again ! The dress is cute but since I'm not 7' tall nor going to wear 6" heels, this goes back. I'm not willing to spend $20 + dollars to have over a foot of fabric cut away.
Am I annoyed, Yes, but with myself for getting so caught up in the look of this dress that I failed to check the length measurements plus my loss for return shipping.

I really like the dress however it is much, much too long! Now, I have to got throuh the expense of having it cut off and hemmed.
Also, I don't particularly care for the elastic under the arms. Otherwise, it cute.

Beautiful Dress
I got the dress in blue and I really love it. It's very flattering to any figure. I got mine in the medium and it fits perfect. The only complaint I have is the dress is way too long. I'm 5'6 and the dress drags the ground when I wear flats or flip flops. I will have to get the dress hemmed because I normally wear with a flat shoe. Other than that, love the dress!! :)

WOULD BUY MUCH MORE IF MORE PEOPLE WOULD MAKE THINGS FROM
RAYON RATHER THAN - UNNATURAL OIL PRODUCT POLYESTER
APPPRECIATE MUCH THE RAYON.

Great dress
I received this along with the Clinton's wrap dress. I ordered both in small - the wrap dress was too small and this fit perfectly. I love the amount of coverage as well as the length. I am 5'6" and it is perfect. I like a maxi that I can wear with heels! Thanks so much for this dress - it will be a major player in my wardrobe for the rest of the summer.

I expected nothing less...
then the best from Clinton Kelly. I have many maxi dresses- started wearing them 2 years ago and very excited to see such a great collection at the Q. It has always been difficult to find a black one that is not too dressy, not too casual... This one is great. I am a 1X with a chunky bottom- but this dress is stunning. I actually ordered the XL, based on the previous reviews. I love the surplice style with the under piece so you don't have to fuss. I love the cut of the straps- wide, but it doesn't make you feel like you have a nightgown on. Not overly thrilled with the tie back, but it does make the fit easier around the middle. As other reviewers mentioned, I will need to have it shortened, but I'm sure I will wear this one a lot. I'm going to a big event at the NY Public Library and will need to wear flat sandals- this will be perfect with the marble floors and the crowds! Thank you for thinking of a womans figure with your design elements.

So close...
I saw this air on the Lisa Roberton Show. The black sold out in my size so I ordered the blue. This dress was not what I expected. The belt was thin and flimsy and literally sewn on the front under the bust and disappeared at the side seam. Besides that, the color was spot on. It did fit a tad on the larger size and had nicely sized straps to cover bra lines. It is very very long, but if you read the description it has the length. I'm 5'4 and planned on getting it hemmed, but due to the cheap looking belt detail, I reluctantly returned.
