Got this bag in the purple and it is just perfect. Right amount of room and not too heavy. Get lots of compliments. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that I have a hard time with the lock closure. While it does keep your bag secure, it is hard to line up to close it.

Good size and material, but.....
I purchased this bag in dark purple color. I love the color and material. It's very roomy for everything I need to carry everyday. The material is very soft. But my biggest complaint is this bag has no "bones". It can't stand by itself, and when you carry it (either by long strap or the handle), the top of the bag is all bended and twisted. It's very hard to get stuff out of the bag when you carrying it. Also it feels heavier than other bags. My shoulder got hurt after carrying this bag for two days. I have many Kathy Van Zeeland's bags, but this one is kind of disappointment.

Best Kathy bag ever!
I started to buy Kathy Van Zeeland bags about 6 years ago and loved the organization (especially the triple compartment ones) and the price. As time went on I moved to Bruce's bags when I started watching QVC because of the sophisticated looks and the fact that they also essentially had the same pocket configurations as Kathy's plus that great cell phone pocket! This bag has the best of both worlds!! Very "grown-up" silhouette and color, lots of organization, and a bigger cellphone pocket! I got the bone and I'm very happy I did!!! I just started a new job at a bank and I feel very confidant and stylish while being appropriate and refined! The material is luxurious and the construction is very well done! Don't hesitate to try this one!

for a woman who desires a "high end" look without the "high end" price. I have been searching and searching for a nice crossbody/convertible bag that has enough room for all of my things and this is it. Finally a shape that isn't "utilitarian" and I love the look. My only suggestion would be to make this bag hold it's shape a bit more; although I understand that it may be difficult due to weight issues. Anyway, I love your new line! Class with value. Purchased this bag in charcoal. Very nice bag. Can't tell it's not real leather. Love the handle, crossbody strap, and the hardware. The style is very classic and quiet; lots of pockets and organization inside too. Fabric inside is really pretty. Like I said....looks like a very expensive bag. Usually buy Bruce's bags; took a chance on Kathy's new Lux line and am very satisfied.
