Normally, I would have given these 5 stars because I have ordered them several times. However they have changed the packaging and it was a mess. They use to be individually packaged and now they are putting 4 in one package. They were frozen together and very difficult to separate. We had to cook all four servings at one time. Please change the packaging back to the original method.

What grade of Filet Mignon is this? Commercial, Utility or Canner Grade? It is really bad..

I served these for Christmas Day dinner. I wanted something elegant and easy to prepare (because by Christmas Day I am exhausted). As I was cooking them, I was afraid that the pastry would come apart, but it didn't. They looked beautiful when I served them along sides of grilled asparagus, glazed whole carrots, and mashed potatoes. MY GUESTS RAVED ABOUT THESE!!! The filet was delicious and tender, and the star on the top of each one made a lovely presentation!

If you could put NEGATIVE stars I would. Purchased this for a special Christmas Eve dinner. Followed everything to the LETTER on the instructions. 40 minutes later all I got was some messy looking OLD tasting sloppy plate of YUCK!!! I have never been so disappointed in anything in my life.. Even the dog turned her nose up at it... HORRIBLE... go else where... I'll think twice about shopping QVC in the future.

I was disappointed in this product. I cooked the beef wellington according to the directions in the booklet, but they were overdone after only 36 minutes. The flavor was good, but not great and the inside of the puff pastry was a little pasty. It would also be nice if they could be individually wrapped. I will not order this product again because the quality does not justify the price.

I cooked these according to package directions and got an extremely rare steak, with dough in some places and proper crust in others. In the past I have bought Wellingtons that cooked beautifully...what happened? I gave these two stars because the meat was tasty once I heated them to medium rare. For the price paid, I got an inferior product.

I love Beef Wellington, the pastry fell apart, the beef was tuff, however the Q gave me a refund. The food being sold just isn't what it used to be!
Rated 2 out of 5 by Fortuna Cat I've had much better...
We have enjoyed many Kansas City products in the past: wonderful prime rib, juicy steakburgers, excellent brats. These wellingtons are somewhere between mediocre and poor. The instructions in the gourmet guide are simple and easy to follow. The results were not good. Gummy puff pastry, tough filet, but decent duxcelles. We've eaten the first two and it's far too late to return or ask for refund so we'll have the remainder at a later date. These are really not worth the cost. Save your money!
