I guess I didn't realize that the roast was already seasoned. Usually with Kansas City steaks and roasts the seasoning packet came separate, especially when I ordered the Original category meat. This allows me to add only as much as I want. Unfortunately this seasoning was so strong it wasn't pleasant to eat, and you couldn't wash it off it was soaked in.
Kansas City Steak please leave the Original category of your products plain and provide the seasoning separately.

Tender but lacks flavor. I would not reorder this item

Served at a Family Dinner. The meat was tender, but all said it was too salty on the spice rub. One can always add salt if desired. The inside was excellent.

Ordered the garlic and herb, was moist and tender. Thought it could have used more garlic, not enough for my taste. Cooked it on 400* for 30 minutes, perfect medium rare. I might like this even better than the prime rib. Will order again, might try the other flavor.

Although very tender and moist I thought there was too much house seasoning on the roast. Just a little too strong for me. As far as preparation goes It cooked fine in my "NU-WAVE" oven. Thirty -eight minutes and a rest time of ten minutes and it was done to a perfect medium rare. Just too much seasoning for me. I think when it comes time to roast the second one I will wash off most of the seasoning before cooking.

I was all prepared to not like this, but I was very pleased with the results. The roast was nice and tender. Lots of juice for gravy. Maby just a mite to much pepper, but that can be fixed with the gravy. Just follow cooking directions and works out great.

To bad, this roast was too salty, because otherwise, the size is great for 3-4.
