Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievable!!! There's a story behind this review. I ordered these steaks last AUGUST, put them in the freezer, intending to enjoy them later. However, a broken wrist (on my dominant hand) put a halt to that!!! Frankly, I forgot about them! Tonight I was looking in the freezer for something easy to,make (because I have a very bad spine and my right knee has gone out so quick and easy is the only way I can manage right now). Well, I had gotten some burgers from another company and they were microwaveable (and delicious). Hmm, I thought, I wonder........ Well, I got out a package, thawed them in water, and was ready to "experiment". Yes, they were two different sizes -- one was thin and just right for a sandwich, the other was smaller, but thicker -- just right for a steak dinner! No matter, I wasn't making sandwiches anyway. So, I stuck a fork in them several times, sprinkled on the KC special seasoning, forked them again, laid an upside down paper plate over them and left them alone for about 15 minutes. The instructions said, for the grill, 5-7 minutes on each side. Well, from doing the burgers, which were double the thickness, I knew 7 minutes would ruin them. So I set the timer for 5 minutes. I WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZED!!! For microwaved steaks, these were the BEST I'VE EVER HAD!! I can only imagine what they would taste like if done properly on the grill (which I am unable to handle -- maybe I should get me a George Foreman!!! Hey! That's the ticket!!!) If they were THIS GOOD done in the microwave, they'll make my eyes roll back in my head done on a grill!!!! You might want to experiment with it yourself and think about adding that method to the instructions, for those times when outside grilling or oven roasting are impractical for the consumer (like me). I'm definitely going to get one of the George Foreman grills. Make sure you watch the news medias for a story about a woman passing out from eating a steak cooked on the Foreman!!!! I CANNOT BE HAPPIER WITH THE RESULTS I GOT -- and remember, the steak is ONE YEAR OLD, too!!!! I can't say anything about the fries because I forgot I had them!!! But I will the next time. Thanks for a steak of such good quality they can stand up to a microwave after being in the freezer for a year!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delicious My husband and I just tried these today for lunch. We cooked them as described in the booklet that came with them. Just used a little salt and pepper, and placed on a sandwich roll. They were very delicious and tender. We would not hesitate to purchase again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Steak delicious - fries very salty I tried the steaks - they were delciious (garlic), and tender. They come two to a package,, and were unevenly sized. One was a nice medium thin size good for a sandwich, the other was a thick very slim piece of meat that only would have been good in a hot dog bun. Not my idea of sandwich steaks. The fries, which I was afraid to try, had almost 600 mg of sodium in 3 oz - that is less than 1/5 of a pound - not much in the way of fries. would not even attempt to eat them because of the high sodium content. if they could just make them with about 1/8 the amount of sodium I would have been delighted with them. Too bad. Steaks tasted good though.
