This thing is plain horrible all around. What a mess! Cooking times are way off, our chickens were overcooked, and it stunk up the house. This is not a rotisserie and should not be advertised as one. Bulky to take apart and clean, avoid this and just buy a Showtime, you'll be glad you did.

I purchased this to replace my baby george rotisserie which is unfortunately falling apart after some years of abuse.
The PROS- Cooks FAST, Super juicy meats (I've only made whole chickens thus far), timer, various settings, easy to remove food from rotisserie. large pool of juice under meats which yo can baste onto your food
The Cons- No "rotisseried" crispy skin, a few burn spots since heating elements dont actually rotate they just heat up in sequence, if forget to turn the center element off after a few minutes (20 or so) your food will be dry. its HUGE and if you dont have a big kitchen this will take up a lot of space.
Overall, I Love it and despite no crunchy skin and a couple burn marks (you can cut those off), toss some seasoned salt on your chicken (or sea salt) and enjoy the delicousness. :-)

I received my Kalorik "rotisserie" yesterday and could not wait to use it! That being said, it SHOULD NOT be called a rotisserie...... it is simply just an oven, as a rotisserie is supposed to rotate, hence the word "rotisserie" so that it can constantly baste itself. This machine just drains the juice into a drip pan thus leaving a dry chicken or roast. It also leaves your meat with a HUGE gaping hole in the center of it. I will be sending this item back as soon as I can clean it up (which isn't easy) package it, and send it out!
