Justin Case 11,600 mAh Portable Charger iPad Case
Too Cheap Looking for the $
I really thought that this was a great idea but was disappointed when I got it. For the price, it is really plastic looking and feeling. It does include the usb charging cable but not the apple cable. Also the flap used to close the cover keeps getting in your line of sight when using the Ipad. Definitely going back. HALO is better.
not a good purchase
I bought this and charged up for 16 hours and when i went to charge my iPad that was at 28% on iPad plugged in to charger left in charge for 4 hours and the charger got hot and went dead before a 70% charge on iPad not happy at all its going back.
Great cover w/ a battery \ charger
This is a great power pack for the iPad - it's an added bonus to having a secure cover for the device. The added stylus is oK. I would change 1 thing - when the cover is open to use the iPad, add a strap / Velcro / snap or something that will hold the cover together. It would be nice to have a hole for the camera when using the iPad and don't need to deal with a flopping cover that sometimes gets in a way. I hope this is helpful information.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
This particular item is not compatible with most IPAD's, despite the fact that it states it is compatible.
Powerful & Great For Travel & Disaster Preparation
This is a powerful backup power system and I love it! I take train trips halfway across the country and this is great for charging my phone and ipad. Sometimes I don't have access to an outlet and this solves the problem. I also feel it is an important part of disaster preparedness. I live in earthquake country and this gives me a secure feeling in case the power goes off for a couple of days.
Waste of money
First of all the lighting cord does not fit my 4th generation I Pad, I can't believe they tell you it works with iit! I hate that will now be wasting to&from shipping and that I was dumb enough to pay $69 for a case. It does make IPad too heavy and really it's nothing to look at. Best buy, Marshall's, TJ Maxx all have cheaper cases that are much nicer. No more impulse buys for me!
My husband bought this for me and I do really like it. I like the fact that you can charge the Ipad from the cover along with your cell phone and any other device that charges with a usb cord. The only thing I don't like it that there is no place for you to store your stylus and cords and that is why I gave it 4 stars.
Not a good value.
I had high hopes for this case. I was very confused when first charging this product. Why doesn't it come charged? It was hard to determine if it was fully charged because it took a long time to charge. My original ipad is very tight in this case. It probably works much better with the newer slightly smaller ipads. The Halo products work much better. The case makes the ipad way heavier, so not so mobile. Thought I could at least use it to prop up the ipad and that was awkward too. Won't return it but not using it either. I do use the stylist! I wonder if the devise or the cording was the fault in the charging. Not convenient.
This works quite well and I plan to use it when we travel and are flying long distances!
Do Not Purchase
As a case holder, it was nice. As a charger, disappointing. The charger and IPad are not compatible.
Great Concept, But...
The concept is great, but it seems to make the iPad weigh heavier, I'm sure this because of the battery. Would be great when you take it on trips or vacations. The one thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't turn the iPad off like most great cases do when you close them. I will keep it and maybe give it to my brother and sister in law for their iPad.
Disappointed - Giving it Another Try!!!
I purchased this in June, followed directions, charged for 14 hours out of the box. Did not use it until over the weekend. Charged my ipad overnight and woke up to only a 40% charge!!! According to the "blue lights" there was still 51% charge left on the battery. However, it stopped charging my ipad at 40%. I am totally disappointed. However, I am sending it back and having it replaced. I am hoping that it is just a defective unit. I so want this to work as indicated in the initial presentation and in the literature that accompanied my case. If not, will have to return it for a refund! I am crossing my fingers that a replacement is the answer!
