Julep Well-Manicured Kit
How do I use it: Gently push back excess cuticles using the cuticle pusher.
Use the rounded edge of the cleanup tool to clean under nails. Use the straight edge to wipe stray lacquer off skin during polish application.
Lift top metal lever of the nail clippers, rotate 180 degrees, and flip over. Carefully trim nails, taking care not to cut too close to the nail bed. If trimming toenails, always cut in a straight line.
Shape nails with the coarse grit side of the emery board. Always file from the outer corner toward the center using one-way strokes. Smooth edges with the fine grit side.
Apply your favorite cuticle softener and allow 30 seconds for product to absorb. Alternatively, soak hand in warm, soapy water to soften cuticles. Hold the pusher so the curve of the hook aligns with nail beds on your opposite hands. Gently push back the cuticles on each nail using a one-way, upward motion. Avoid scraping nail bed. If needed, soften cuticles again during use.
Make sure the center latch of the cuticle nipper is attached before use. Bladed edges should be facing nail bed. After you've pushed back cuticles, carefully trim any hangnails using the tip of the cuticle nipper. Avoid cutting any live skin.
Pro Tip: Sanitize metal tools in the dishwasher or by boiling in hot water for two to five minutes.
