I love JR jewelry and have almost 110 pieces as proof! However, this ring was not the quality that I expect from her. The ring felt very lightweight, which shouldn't have been the case considering the 6 carat weight of the gems. The blue topaz must have been a shallow slice of a gem, as the back wasn't open, but totally closed. I loved the design, but the ring just felt cheap, so I returned it right away. JR, please don't do this again as I'd hate to lose you as my favorite jeweler!

I must confess I'm a huge Judith Ripka fan and own a number of her pieces. I love the quality of every piece and this ring is no exception. I thought it would be "over the top" but it can be worn easily as a daytime ring or it could easily be dressed up for a night on the town. It's expensive but it is worth it! Get off the fence and get it!
Rated 5 out of 5 by Brandy17 Lovely and Elegant
This London Blue Topaz ring is lovely and elegant. The design emphasizes the darker blue tear drop, center stage, surrounded by the lighter shades of blue topaz. The darker metal makes the smaller stones shimmer and the Aquamarine sparkles in any light. Without the rhodium the lighter stones would not be as noticeable. Nice touch. In addition to the unique design, it is very comfortable on my finger and I do not notice the prong set around the Aquamarine. Probably because my ring stays put and doesn't roll around on my finger. The style is flattering and elongates my finger as well. This ring is a bit pricey and I wish I had caught it on easy pay. However, the ring is covered in gem stones and the sterling silver is substantial. Very happy with this purchase.
Rated 2 out of 5 by BradsAliCat I so wanted to love this ring.
I was so excited about this ring, when I got the box I deliberately did not look at the ring until I put it on my finger and went into the sunlight. I initially liked the ring, however as I kept looking at it, I noticed some of the small stones around the London Blue Topaz were missing. Upon closer look, I discovered they were not missing, rather they were so dark in color with no shine whatsoever, that they looked like the stones were missing. The two pear stones on each side were lackluster, and added nothing to the ring. For this price point I have to LOVE the ring, regrettably, I was disappointed in the quality and color of the stones. Back it goes.

I did like how this ring looked on the finger, but the aquamarine stones on each side have a sharp prong that makes it hard to wear. It pokes the fingers on each side. I think the design is fabulous except for this one flaw which makes it not worth keeping for the price. I don't want to avoid wearing any ring that costs this much. Sorry, but have to send it back. I will also add that I ordered a size 7 and it is a bit large. Sizing is slightly off.
