Just Beautiful
These earrings are really stunning. I love the black around the stones, it gives them depth. The earrings are not too large so they are not so heavy that they pull on my ear lobes. They are a great size and the color of the main stone, soft blue, is so pretty.

Nice Present For Me

Puzzled
I ordered these earrings along with the matching necklace. The necklace arrived first and I love it! When the earrings arrived, something seemed to be "off" but I couldn't put my finger on it until I took the necklace out of the box and compared the two. It was so obvious! The small dmq stones on the earrings are about 2 shades lighter than the dmq stones on the necklace. They don't even come close to matching and they have NO sparkle. So disappointed as I wanted the set. I will be sending back the earrings and exchanging them for another pair that , hopefully, has the deep sapphire color around the quartz stone instead of a ho-hum shade of diluted blue.

Cool pool of blue
Yes, they are a bit expensive, but they do strongly resemble the high-end Ripka line that is out of reach for most of us. Normally, I do not purchase sets, but I bought the coordinating necklace and they are lovely together. As others have noted, the center stone is a VERY light blue, whereas the rhodium frame around them has darker "saphire" stones. This is on trend with the halo setting found in many real diamond jewelry pieces. The back of the stone is not covered with more silver which allows light to shine through and keeps them from being too heavy to wear comfortably. I have worn them to work with a suit as well as to a gala event with a ball gown. They are beautiful but lighter weight than many of the Ripka pieces from QVC. Hope this review helps you make up your mind if you are on the fence.

looks cheap
The earrings look much better on TV then in real life. The center stone is dull and the earrings don't look like what they cost. The only thing that saves them is the blue diamonique stones but that just isn't enough for earrings that cost over $180 with tax and shipping. They are going back.

Really Wanted to Like These
During the presentation these earrings seemed very beautiful. I was excited to receive them. The large simulated quartz stone is very dull. I like others feel this is extremely overpriced for what you receive. While I adore diamonique, I feel these are extremely overpriced for simulated quartz. Everything about the earrings is nice with the exception of the simulated stone. I would consider purchasing again if the stone was quartz.

Should I keep them or should they go?
When I saw these on TV I HAD to have them. BUT when I got them I was so disappointed. The center stone is way too pale. I didn't realize it wasn't even a real stone, it's a synthetic quartz! I don't know how I messed this. Quartz is not an expensive stone and this is not even a real piece of quartz. The diamonique stones are beautiful as usual, but for the money the center stone should be real and a darker shade of blue. I usually love the pieces I buy from Judith but I was so disappointed with these. I love the style but they are way over priced for what they are. I am sorry Judith, these are going to go back.

Just Beautiful!!!
I just got these earings and they are lovely looking. They're the color of Ceylon saphires and they catch the light beautifully. I love them. They are the perfect companion to other blue saphire jewelry.

Understated Elegance...A Cinderella Moment
I purchased these for my adult daughter, but had to try them on before I put them away for her. They made me feel "special" and "feminine". They're in a catagory of their own & are different from most of Ms. Ripka's more larger earring sets, but don't be fooled- - when you slip them on, you'll have a Cinderella Moment. They're dainty, a cool blue (a plus for us blue eyed gals) and the more you wear them, the fonder you'll become of them. Needless to say, I had to purchase a pair for me before the clearance price influenced too many others. The necklace is a wow too! I may have to borrow that one!

Stunning! They are much smaller than the ombre earrings, and it seems to be perfectly situated. The combo of the two hues of blues adds to the different levels of sparkle on your ears. I do envision wearing these often during the summer, and not just for dress up. Comfy. Love.
