My first sterling Judith Ripka necklace; I don't ever want to take it off !!!

This necklace is beautiful! Yes, it does feel a bit lighter than her textured and polished necklace from several years ago but that is probably due to the links being larger. It weighs 72 grams, which is substantial. A nice bold look that goes with everything! Put this on and I am done! A winner!

Too light and not a good value. Looks like a $40 piece of costume jewelry. Extremely disappointed I purchased two of these and now am wasting money on returning them.

What is going on with Judith Ripka’s yellow gold pieces? I have a lot of jewelry from Judith that I love, but I’m so disappointed in this necklace. I purchased this for a gift and I never dreamed that it would look this cheap, it’s much to shiny of a yellow gold color and it doesn’t look real. What adds insult to injury is that they didn’t even extend the twisted rope links all the way around the necklace like you would expect from Judith. Instead they just put a few in the very center of the necklace and one on each side of the catch and that’s it. It would have looked so much better if they had only placed the twisted rope pieces alternately around the entire necklace, what a shame! I would rather spend a little more money and have it look more real. Very disappointing to say the least!

I give up! Of late, Ms. Ripka's pieces are just not the same workmanship or quality they used to be. I know, because I have a lot of them. But lately, they just don't pass mustard.
This necklace, which I bought in the gold 18", is not weighty, the links are shiny and boring with very little craftsmanship ( a few carved links), and it simply looks like cheap costume jewelry. Sorry Judith but back it goes.
