Judith Ripka Sterling 1.40ct Citrine and Diamonique Estate Ring
More than I expected
I love the ring! It is prettier in person than on the tv, and that is saying a lot. When I was watching on tv, this ring kept catching my eye and didn't know what the number is. I liked it so much that I searched for it in the inventory. It was well worth the trouble. The silver is done in such a way it appears that you have snowflakes surrounding the stone. I have never seen a technique like that. I will buy more of Judith Ripka's jewelry in the future. I just wished it came in more colors.
I almost kept it but just couldn't get past the shank of the ring which I felt made it look too costume. Loved the top and stone. I finally just had to send it back.
Just received this today and ladies this is absolutely gorgeous! I actually own a ring similar with an aquamarine stone in the center in 14k white gold with diamonds. That said, this looks even better and is a whole lot less money! My only issue with this ring is the extended side stones which may make it uncomfortable for all day wear but I am going to really test this "gem" out since I do not want to return it. It so regal and estate looking. This would be a great birthstone ring, also. Hoping it is works out ;-)!
This ring is lovely. The size of the diamonique makes it very believable. The color of the citrine is really wonderful. I just love it. I have worn it for a few days now and have gotten several compliments on how feminine and vintage the ring looks. Several people including a couple of gentlemen have asked if this was passed down from my mother... I wear this as an everyday piece and am very happy with the quality and the workmanship!
Another great purchase from Judith
Loved the ring. It makes a statement on my hand. I have received a lot of compliments on it...waiting on the bracelet and earrings to match (hint, hint)...
This ring is very pretty an looks good. It is very comfortable and it looks good with my Judith Ripka earrings with the same stones. I teetered back and forth whether to return or not. I decided to keep because when I put it on it looks good.
The ring arrived today and it was not what I had anticipated. On TV the citrine stone appeared to have a far greater prominence than is actually present. It sits down in the ring and the mill work and diamonique stones outshadow the citrine. The overall design is stunning but disappointing in that the citrine is dwarfed. Also, the width of the ring is wider than I expected. On the positive side, the color of the citrine is very pretty.
Will most likely return the ring. I would like to see less width and a bolder stone. Then the ring would be awesome, in my opinion.
Really pretty ring but has a lot of stone presence which for me tends to make it less believable as "real" even tho the citrine and sterling are "real". Looks very nice on hand, not overly large tho. Not sure yet if I will keep yet, gonna try it first.
