The other review mentions that this is not actually an 8" bracelet. It is 8", strictly speaking, but on the wrist, with the toggle closure, the true wearable length is shorter - about 7" - I would say if your actual wrist circumference is more than 6 7/8", this will not fit comfortably. The links are a good scale (about 3/8" x 1/2") and the piece has a nice weight (not heavy, but I find a lot of JR pieces to be tin-foil light). The citrine cabochons are not the centerpiece and are fairly flat and incidental, but I knew that when I bought it. Citrine is my birthstone, so I just like them as an accent. The bracelet pairs well with my Madison watch in color, texture and size. Overall, you are paying for the name, no doubt, but it is better quality than most JR bracelets I've experienced.

I bought this about five months ago, I kept it, wear it a lot and do like it. All that said, it doesn't match the description given at all and is waaaaay overpriced. The only part of this bracelet that's anywhere near 1/2 inches wide is the actual toggle-bar, not even the toggle-circle is that wide. The bracelet itself is about 1/4 inch wide. The only way this bracelet could possibly measure 8 inches long would be if it was stretched out and measured from end to end, from the end of the toggle-circle to the tip of the toggle-bar. Even measured that way the one I received was still barely 7 1/2 inches, . The "citrine" end-caps are not noticeable in the slightest.
I didn't want to go through the trouble of sending it back, so I added a few leftover silver links to make it long enough to fit my 7 1/4 inch wrist. I also created a safety catch by attaching a small sterling necklace-extender to the toggle-bar side of the bracelet. I simply connect the tiny lobster claw clasp to the toggle-circle side then pull the toggle through the toggle-circle.
Voila, one JR sterling 1/4 wide toggle bracelet! I would've lost this at least ten times without the safety catch, as I've found it dangling from the lobster clasp at least that many times. By the time I was done altering it, there was no way I would ever send it back. However, all things considered, it is a practical bracelet that I like and wear often.
I do wish the bracelet had been descried correctly, as I wanted the 1/2 inch wide bracelet.
Even though it was overpriced, sometimes it seems more to be more hassle and expensive to keep paying back-and-forth shipping charges than to just make a few alterations and keep some things. Who knows, maybe they sent me the wrong bracelet? I am curious though, so if anyone else ordered this and would comment about the size of the bracelet, I would appreciate it.
