Josie Maran Light Bronze Whipped Argan Illuminizing Body Butter 8oz
Feels like wearig makeup
I don't wear makeup so I did not like the way it feels and that it comes off on to what ever rubs against your skin. It also does not give that wonderful feeling I get from the plane whipped body butter.
cant be without
on my returning trip from florida the tsa took my body butter since it was over the 3oz size alottd before I even got on the plane I reordered it again I cant be without this the BEST I ever used in my 65 years love it and cant be without it for a day
Illuminizing body butter
i dont like it i ordered the wrong thing but i will keep it and maybe someone i know will want it ,it is to thick and it makes me think of barbie makeup for little girls Ido love the regular kind its wonderful and thats what i thought i ordered...
won't ever be without it!
I started buying this about two years ago and I absolutely love it . It makes my 75 year old skin look soft and supple. Thank you Qvc and Josie Marin.
Just the right amount of shimmer!
I love Josie's original body butter. I bought this one for my daughter who wanted a product that had a shimmer or glow to it. This product is perfect. Not only does it hydrate and
moisturize; but, it gives an ever so subtle "shimmer." Exactly what she was looking for.
This product is almost edible! Its smells like vanilla pudding and the texture is a bit like it too. Its very thick and a little goes a long ways. Its very concentrated with the bronzers that are in it. I like to dilute it a little with one of my other JM body butters, It goes on thick without doing so. Still I love it but not sure I would buy again.
In reading some of the other reviews, I am surprised that every person did not give this 5 stars! Gorgeous scent, amazing texture, and makes my skin look flawless and sun kissed. I have never had the experience of staining, maybe because I use it specifically to make my skin look pretty in warm weather clothes.i have given this as gifts, and every gal has reordered herself! Stunning product, worth every penny, I don't ever want to be without it!
Fake Tan Appearance
Love the Vanilla Peach scent; however, that's all I love about it. The illuminizing effect is too dark, and makes my legs look like they have a fake, orangey-tan. The body butter itself feels drier than the non-illuminizing body butter. I fact I add a few drops of Argan oil to make it feel more buttery and hydrating. I'm glad I bought the 2 oz. size and not the full 8 oz. size. I used the entire jar before writing this review, and can say I'm glad I ran out. I would like to see the Vanilla Peach scent in the regular body butter. I would certainly stock up!
a glitter tanning lotion
This product has a lot of glitter in it and it has color in it that stains your clothes like lipstick. That's what I actually use it for is lipstick. It takes the dead skin off my lips and it's a nice color and shiny.
The Color Transfers To Cloths
I like this product and it is a great moisturizer. However, I put it on my legs and wore a pair of white Capri pants. As the day went on I looked down at my pants and I had a tan color on my white capri's by my knees. I realized that the color transferred from my legs to my pants when I crossed my legs while sitting down. I washed my pants and the color came out but I am now careful about what I wear when I use this product. Otherwise, I would give it 5 stars. Next time I will purchase the body butter without the color. I do like and use all of the Argon oil products
Did not like it. Too thick and shiny. Gave it away

I really have come to love Josie Maran's body butters. With one exception (which I discussed in another review# they smell very nice -- subtle,. soft and comforting -- and give a beautiful sheen to the skin.
The reason I didn't give it five stars is because of the packaging. There is no aluminum or plastic cover so when I accidentally knocked it over #and I'm not blaming Ms. Maran for my clumsiness -- but accidents do happen) the contents spilled and splattered all over my bed sheets and floors and left apricot-brownish .I didn't wait to throw them in the machine -- I quickly hand scrubbed the items in my bathtub and fortunately all the stains disappeared.
I think Ms. Maran ought to put some kind of inner covering be it plastic or aluminum for several reasons: 1) it will protect the product from contamination, it will lessen if not eliminate the kind of experience I had and lastly it will safeguard the integrity of the product.
Most cosmetic companies protect their products in some way and I think it's time for J. Maran to do the same. There's a lot of product in that 8 oz jar and wow when it's all over your sheets and clothing it looks like twice as much.
