I like it,,but do not love it!
This is a good jacket for weather that is not too cold. It works for the southern US climate where I live. Can be worn comfortably over sweaters and jackets. Thankfully the hood can be removed. Also I am glad the belt was not attached to the jacket because I really don't need it. This jacket is very casual and easy to fold and carry. It arrived very wrinkled but that was was "fixed" by putting it in the dryer on low heat with a damp cloth. I plan to order Joan's trench coat for a dressier look.

LOVE IT!
I love this Anorak! I won't be using the belt that comes with it because I like the way it looks without it (glad to have the belt as an option though and I LOVE THE WAY THE BELT LOOPS ARE HIDDEN--SO SMART!!). Water RUNS right off of it. I can't wait to wear it this spring, summer and fall. :)

Joan Never Disappoints
This is no exception. Watched it for awhile and then decided to get it when it went on sale..wish I had ordered sooner. Great lightweight all seasons jacket. Love the olive.

STYLISH HOODED UNLINED RAINCOAT
I love this raincoat. It is not lined. You can fold it up and slip it into your tote bag. It's good for warm fall and warm spring weather.and for summer. I especially like that the hood snaps under the chin. It's perfect for keeping out the wind, rain, and it keeps the hood on your head. The hood is large enough to fit over a rain hat or cap - a cap prevents mix-master hair. Only problem is the position of the belt loops. Much too high for a normal body. But, please don't use the belt. as It spoils the line of the coat. Without a belt the pleats in the front and back look so good. Really stylish. I have received many compliments on this coat. Wrinkles? I have a rich navy blue color (a true dark blue, but not too dark) it looks fine. This fabric is never going to look like a freshly ironed sheet. It is part of the style. Love it.

What does water resistant mean?
I like this jacket and brought it with me to Italy. When I wore it when it rained though, the coat was soaked and I got very wet. It also took a very long time to dry...it seemed like it was damp forever. So what does water resistant mean? I would not wear this jacket when it is supposed to rain because it does not keep you dry. Otherwise I really do like the jacket. I would not recommend this jacket though since I would think that water resistant meant you can wear it when it rains.

Just what I needed!!!
Received this jacket one day and packed it for a trip to my 50th class reunion the next day. Of course it rained! The jacket was perfect. It kept me dry and was very comfortable and stylish. I love the cherry-red color and felt great in it. I can't believe people had complaints about it. Well, I don't!!!

Unhappy
This jacket is huge and arrived extremely wrinkled! Why is sizing so inconsistant?
I won't order again as shiiping back is too costly.

HUGE!
The style of this jacket is really cute, but the XS was so huge I could have fit another person in it with me! It would be great if EVERYTHING at QVC came in an XXS instead of just a few clothing lines. Back it goes!

Not that Sure About This One, Joan
To be honest, I'm not sure WHAT I was expecting, but I do feel that it wasn't what I received. I'm going to let it hang in my offer overnight and then I'll decide just what I'm going to do, keep it or send it back. First I have to get past these wrinkles. It's a tad hard to believe this is the same jacket Joan was wearing and the host was RAVING about. I'm a bit disappointed.

I didn't get a belt even after I exchanged for a smaller size. This was a poor example of Joan's work. It was too long for a short coat; too short for a long coat. The pleats were placed in the wrong places in front, and too wide in the waist overall. It was paper thin. The detachable hood was the only good idea on this jacket.

not flattering
I must say, I was surprised at this jacket since it came from Joan, I usually love everything I order from her line. However, I didn't l ike this jacket because of the pleats in the front - it made it look like a maternity jacket! There was no true way to cinch the waist in - when I put the belt on the excessive fabric bunched up and made me look like I had a big belly or something. I thought it would fit more like a trench - or, as the name states, a true anorak! I am five foot five and weigh 135 pounds, I usually wear a small. Back it goes.

made me look fatter
Really wanted a jacket like this and from the front it was great but the pleats in the back made my backside look huge and that is not usually my problem. Definitely don't need to look fatter by putting on a jacket. And I got it in black!!!!
Love Joan's stuff but a nice flat slimming or even just plain back with a slit would have been far far better.
