I am taking the time to write this "helpful" review because I hope that David and his staff actually reads these comments and will try to improve their product when necessary. Yes, this strawberry bee pin is absolutely gorgeous and very striking--people notice it when you are wearing it and comment on its beauty. BUT, it does not matter how beautiful a pin is if the "stick pin and clasp" does not work or is so difficult to use that you get frustrated trying to put the pin on. I have many of your bee pins and love them all except for the poor quality of the clasp; however, the strawberry pin's clasp is the worst. The first strawberry pin I ordered had a clasp that wouldn't open or close unless you used a pliers, etc.. The second pin was even worse because the pin stem did not fit into the clasp. I decided to try one more time because it really is a beautiful pin. This time the pin works, but just barely. Even if you get a clasp that "sort of" works, the clasp is so small, so tiny that it is difficult to to get the stem to go into the clasp part and because the parts are so miniscule in size, it is hard to move the clasp to the open and close positions. Other bee pins have larger clasps, but even those are not the best quality. Joan Rivers' staff, I know you could do better. Wear your pins before you sell them and then you'll understand the problems and how to correct them. Thanks

Was going to only buy one Bee in honor of OUR JOAN, but now I can't let any slip by. I have the grape one, the watermelon, the pineapple, but this one is sooo darn adorable. I feel funny loving my bees, but they make you feel happy. Thank you so much!!!!

This pin is beautiful but the first pin I received was totally missing the clasp that you turn to keep the pin closed. I really wanted this strawberry pin, so even though I read the other reviews about the clasp problem, I ordered a second pin with my fingers crossed that the replacement pin would be okay. It was not. The clasp would not close. It would not budge no matter how hard I tried to turn it. I am so beyond disappointed that I have no strawberry bee pin!!! Please find another manufacturer to make this pin for all of us who really want to own this darling pin!!!

Don't waste your money on this pin unless you want it to sit on the shelf! The clasp is horrible. I had 2 pins & neither clasp would work! Didn't want to try for a third. Quality seems to have gone down the drain with this pin.

My Mom gave this to me for my birthday. It's to remind me of Joan's message about the bee being able to do everything that it shouldn't be able to, and make the world beautiful. We all need some hope and inspiration these days, and this bee brings it!

I love this pin but had to return the original purchase because the clasp was broken. I received the exchange and again the clasp was damaged. The pin itself is adorable and I really wanted it for the summer. It would have looked cute on my summer dresses, tops, etc. but unfortunately the clasps appear to faulty and I have given up on the purchase and returned the replacement also. I have other pins from Joan Rivers and this is the first I've seen this problem.

I ordered this strawberry pin specifically to go with the new JR pink and white gingham boyfriend shirt I just received from my waitlist order. The first pin I received had a clasp that would not open so I sent it back for another. The exchange I received had a clasp that would not close! Just sent that one back for a refund. Very, very disappointed. I have been collecting these bee pins for years and this is a first. I never had a problem with clasps until now. At just under $50 a pin, that should certainly not be the case.
