Great Retro Look
I bought both the skirt and jacket in black first. I loved it so much I came back for the red. The picture does not do it justice. It is very professional looking and the ponte knit is good quality. Obviously, you can wear the pieces separately. I have worn the jacket with jeans and a tee. It is true to the size chart (click here). The look has a somewhat retro look with an updated style. I feel very polished when I wear it and the design can be worn by both young and mature women.

Elegant and modern
This is a lovely jacket. The fabrication is gorgeous--sumptuous, even. And the cut is fantastic. Sizing is spot-on. The red is a lovely color, more of a garnet red than a tomato red. But I'll be exchanging the red for the black. The jacket would be perfect if it didn't include the top pockets. The "U" outline of faux leather over my chest looked odd. I didn't find it an attractive look. The jacket is fantastic, though, so I'm happy to be adding a classy black jacket with a modern twist to my work wardrobe.

Better than expected
I have purchased a LOT of Joan Rivers clothes and most of the time they are great and just a few times I have been disappointed in the quality but this time I was shocked. The knit is great quality and the stitching is excellent. I'm going to go ahead and buy the skirt even though I said I wasn't going to. Fabric feels yummy and worth the money. I am also glad I waited until stock came back in for the red. The black just doesn't show the faux leather like the red does.

The Perfect Fit
I have only purchased one jacket from Joan in the past, but this time I wanted a real "suit" so I ordered the jacket and the skirt that goes with it. The first time in years that I've had a suit that fit both top and bottom. Runs true to size and since I just lost weight and went down a size, it was a gamble, but turned out to be a good one. Thank you, Joan.
