I have this in the white pearl, and it is beautiful. I plan to buy the pink pearl bee. I collect Joan Rivers Bee pins. I have about 130 of her bee pins. There are earrings that match these Faux Pearl Bee Pin. Item #293164.
I love this Bee Pin.

I ordered all three colors of these pins. I have dozens of JR bees and enjoy collecting them. The first thing I do when I receive new pins is to inspect them carefully and check their fasteners. These three passed my inspection with flying (grey, pink, and white) colors! I also remember thinking, "These may well be the loveliest Joan Rivers bees I have." While it is unfortunate and disappointing to receive sub-quality merchandise, it is reassuring to know that QVC backs up what they sell and promises me that I will be satisfied. I've had the chance to take them up on their offer a time or two. I'm very pleased that these pins did not require that! I have worn the pink and white ones so far and have experienced the way that they really dressed up my otherwise rather casual summertime outfits!

As I collect the bee pins, I ordered one in each color. While they are pretty, I had to send all 3 back for exchange due to scratches and scrapes on the finish as well as a few dings on the gold. The last pins styles I had ordered had been the quality of what Joan's pins used to be (after a few styles of poor quality), but this new style seems to again have quality control issues. I'm hoping the exchanges I receive will be in better condition!

Every bee pin I purchased since Joan's passing has had quality issues. This one is no exception. I ordered all three colors and all three are going back. The white has an obvious damage on the large body pearl as does the grey one. The pink one is in pretty good condition but the lock is much too loose and opens on its own. The prices of these pins goes up while the quality really goes down. Doesn't anyone inspect them either at Joan Rivers company or at QVC? I think I've finally had it and I will just stop buying them no matter how tempted I might be. Not only do I have problems with flaws, poor workmanship, loose locks, etc. the original quality just isn't there anymore. Some of the newer pins have a cheap look to them and less attention to detail. I guess nobody takes the same pride in products as the person whose name is on them.
