Rated 1 out of 5 by Carla4 Wrinkled, Tight & Sleeves too long.
I was so excited to receive this coat after watching the presentation on TV. I was so disappointed when I took it out of the box it came in. It was a wrinkled mess, tight across the shoulders, the sleeves are way too long & I don't care for how high up the little belt on the back is. It is not figure flattering. Back it goes.

I love the look of double breasted pea coats, but have not been able to wear them in the past because they were always made of wool and I am allergic to wool. This pea coat is just right. I bought it in the navy blue color. It is well made and the fit is great! I would highly recommend buying this coat to wear in the fall or spring.
Rated 2 out of 5 by grannyannie44 cheap material
The coat looks nice but is made of cheap material...seemed like felt. I think every piece of lint and every hair or anything else would stick to it. Also the belt in back is too high and if you have.any rear at all it will make the slit in the back stick out. Just not well designed. This went back the same day I received it.

This is a beautiful, well made coat. My only issue is that in the few short weeks I have had it, I have had to fix EVERY button as they were either very loose (afraid to loose) or actually fell off! Please check this issue. Thanks

I ordered the Charcoal. Came wrinkled. I don't know why, since it was in a huge box.
I wore it to work the first time wearing it, a button felt off while I was sitting down. Lucky, I found the button.
I took it to the dry cleaners to have it pressed and all of the buttons tightened. This jacket was too expensive to have that happened. I wonder if I received a returned jacket.
I agree, this runs big. I will keep it since I really like this style. I have narrow shoulders so if I sized down, it would be too tight.
I still really like Joan Rivers' products.
This jacket would be better: size adjusted, buttons fixed, and the price lowered, poss $10-$20
Rated 4 out of 5 by moshopper Class is Back
Ooh I have really missed peacoats, "car coats," those in-between classics that you need to look pulled together instead of a puffy thing or a casual thing. I went for the grey. I did find that it runs large. I had to exchange for a small; the shoulders and top were really huge. And, I had to go with 4 stars instead of 5 because the buttons really are all falling off. I absolutely will have to sew them all on as soon as I get my exchange. That is unacceptable for a brand new item of clothing and certainly from the JR Collection.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Christine17 Love It, But The Sizing Runs Big..
I really like this jacket. It's classy looking, and so comfortable. Not stiff or bulky like most of these types of coats. I usually wear an XL but this one felt like a 2X. I couldn't even keep it & pull it off. It looked funny. I had to return it, and ask for a Lrg. I just hope it's not too big still. Haven't received it yet.
Rated 5 out of 5 by luckyduck7 great fit
I am a plus size and have trouble getting tops and coats to fit. This coat is generous so I can wear the old fashioned sweatshirt and bulky sweaters. Living in Minnesota a good coat is a must. I would recommend this to anyone. Love the style and the length is good to cover the back side.
