Why are there cracks on my Jim Shore figurine?

Selling defective product!!
I love Jim Shore but hate this product. I bought three of these to give as gifts and they did not work. They don't get hot enough to even melt a candle and thus no scent, nothing!!! What a shame to have to give a defective Christmas gift and I see that others have had the same problem with some of the other warmers sold. Its a shame there were no reviews when I bought it or I wouldn't have wasted the money. The only way they would make this right is if I asked for my Christmas gifts back and returned them all so very BAD EXPERIENCE, BAD PRODUCT!!!

As Usual...
I never thought I would have anything but very positive to say about Jim Shore & Heartwood Creek, but I do have a tiny comment to make regarding this item. It would sure have been nicer to have the Snowman on BOTH sides of the candle warmer so it would show from either side. Where I have it placed no one can see the snowman if they are in the kitchen. It only shows from the living room. That is the only reason I don't give it a 5 :(
