Stir brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, and nuts together until smooth. Spread in the bottom of the baking dish. Arrange two layers of bread over the mixture, cutting pieces to fit the pan as needed.
In a separate bowl, beat together the eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon. Pour over bread. Refrigerate overnight, or for at least several hours if in a pinch.
When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 325°F. Bake 45–55 minutes until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Spoon some of the mixture from the bottom of the pan over each serving and enjoy!
