The Inside Story

The White House was considered boring for many generations of diplomats and heads of state. Washington, DC was considered a backwater town by both American and foreign visitors. When the Kennedys entered the White House, all that changed. Staid afternoons where cocktails were scarce gave way to glittering evenings of high culture. Jackie was responsible for the change. She not only changed the White House, but strove to raise the capital to international standards by promoting culture and preservation. This photo was taken at a state dinner for President Abboud of the Sudan on October 4, 1961. The actors are members of the American Shakespeare Festival Theater of Stratford, Connecticut.

Pure Royalty Im so glad I ordered this! I have a number of JBK pieces and this ranks #1, can be dressed up or down but either way its the first thing that will be noticed! One Elegant Bracelet This is one big, bold, sophisticated bracelet. It really packs a 'punch' when it comes to noticeability. I received alot of compliments on it and the 'stares' are very obvious and that's just the way I like it! There is a nice weight to it, which I like in bracelets. I have worn it with jeans/ t-shirt / jean jacket and with a blue satin dress that I had made and worked well with both outfits. You have to be a person that likes to be noticed when you wear this bracelet. I'm glad I bought it. 12-14-11

Elegant and oppulent This is really lovely, ultra-feminine and detailed. It's comfortable to wear and will demand attention, no mistake about it. I can see it with my black, with the pearls and a lovely pair of simple silver earrings or the disc earrings. I love the versatility of all of Jackie's jewelry. 10-20-11
