The Inside Story

Jackie's love of nature and horses began as a child. She was a skilled equestrian rider, winning awards at just 5 years old! More importantly, she found solace and support in taking care of and riding horses. From the uncertainties of her adolescence to the horrors she endured as an adult, Jackie was able to turn to horses for peace and comfort. She credited her experience with them as the reason behind her success, self-assuredness, and poise. This is a rendering of one of her equestrian-inspired pieces, with its design taken from a horseshoe and refined to fit her signature haute couture taste.

Jacqueline Kennedy Simulated Sapphire of the Sea Necklace 4.5 5 19 19
Now I wish I had kept it It's really pretty, but I cannot buy everything so I sent it back. Wish I had kept it. The stone is very pretty. I did not like the way it laid on my neck, it was crooked and that would have bothered me. 10-30-14
Love Jackie K This is a little larger than I thought it was going to be. I bought it for my oldest daughter & believe she will like it so I'm going to keep it. If you love Jackie I think you will be pleased with this piece. 09-22-14
Equestrian Style! I believe this is more of an equestrian style necklace instead of a Sapphire of the Sea necklace! This necklace is pretty with casual wear. 09-02-14
Sapphire of the Sea Necklace I bought this necklace for my daughter. We both love it! The design is beautiful. It looks so much better in person! Definite 5 stars! 08-24-14
Stunning This will be given to my two daughters for Christmas and I will keep one as a wonderful memory of this line of jewelry. It really is classically beautiful and will be treasured for generations in my family. Thanks again. 07-02-14
topaz colored stones When I purchased this necklace, it was part of a set "salute to the sea" which included a bracelet. The stones in this necklace have more of a topaz look than sapphire. I would like to know what the name of the bracelet is that came with this set as it is not a match. The necklace was laying on top of the bracelet, didn't have its own box. 06-30-14
Lovely! this is my second piece through Jacqueline Kennedy's jewelry and I just love this purchase. I'm so excited to be able to wear this necklace! I have already wore the ring that I bought, and I had several compliments on it. 05-07-14
Very attractive necklace I think this is a beautiful necklace in person. The chain is plain, but I think that the original must have been also since it is a reproduction. 04-26-14
Expected to Like It More I just got this necklace in the mail today and went straight to my closet to see what it would best complement. While blue is my favorite color and blue topaz is my birthstone, this simulated sapphire just didn't look as good on me as I expected it would. The chain length is excellent, unlike other pieces I have where all of the extender is needed just to keep it from being a choker - and I don't have an over large neck. I would have preferred a finer link, although that might not be in keeping with the equestrian theme. This is the first JK piece I've purchased, and I do have a few other items on wait list. I don't dislike it enough to return it, but I must admit I was expecting to be more impressed than I was when I opened the box. 04-12-14
IT'S A WOW!!! This is a nice piece of jewelry. It is bigger than I thought it would be, but it's really nice. I always wanted a replica piece of her jewelry and I finally broke down and purchased this one. I was disappointed in the chain--if I can get it changed I will. It's a heavy pendant so I know it requires a good quality chain, but the one it's on was not flattering at all. Still, I'll wear it and think of Jackie. 04-12-14
BEAUTIFUL NECKLACE! Since QVC is retiring the Jacqueline Kennedy collection, I was very happy to come across this particular necklace to add to my jewelry wardrobe. Love the way the horse shoe design frames the sapphire. Nice sturdy chain which I find to be the correct size for this style necklace. Great quality. Will enjoy wearing a piece of Mrs. Kennedy's history. 04-10-14
Great accessory Love this! Looks great against skin or fabric. Excellent value. Versatile adjustable chain length. Soft flattering blue color. Crystals really sparkle. Lucky horseshoe! 04-09-14
