Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sounds Good But doesn't work as advertised. The magnet to hold up the clapper is too weak. It looks like it will hold and just drops on it's own without anyone touching or wind. I will modify a magnet to fit around the clapper twine & is much stronger than the magnet provided. The solar lighting works fine.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautiful Chimes, substandard construction While the chimes tubes are everything they speak of the rest of the construction seriously compares to chimes I've purchased for the dollar stores. My mom bought this for me as a birthday gift. Upon opening the box two pieces of the glass had come unglued from the lantern and were leaning into each other only held together by hot glue at the corners. I thought it would be an easy fix with some outdoor glue and that hasn't worked so far. The "clapper" device which helps mute the sound is magnetic and does not hold; it slowly slides down the string. My mom made this purchase to far out to return it so we just tried to make the best of it. Such a magnificent piece but shoddy construction. At $50 for a wind chime you'd excpect more from the company and QVC's quality control. Do yourself a favor and just get the basic chimes!
