This is a great cam. Love the movies. The only bad part is the battery you get with it.Ididnt get 30 min. with it.So plan on spending about $50.00 for a better battery

Received quickly, much faster than the estimated delivery date. Camera set up easily and is easy to use; picture quality is amazing. I only gave three stars because the battery life is terrible, plenty of info from JVC and other websites about the need to order a backup/longer lasting battery, so prepare for extra expense there. If you have never had a proper camcorder, like me, the instruction manual is useless. It gives no details about the features of the camera or their meaning, nor does the JVC website. From what I can gather, recording in SD vs HD will extend the battery life some, and of course, use less space on memory cards. This model, GZ-E10BU DOES NOT take still photos, you will need to carry a regular camera with you for those shots. Would be nice to see a case included with the purchase as that is another expense. Excellent picture for the price and easy pay, just know that there are extras expenses involved in making it first class.
