I purchased this necklace in March. While the necklace may be beautiful, the presentation in the box was not. The black ink from the name JMH was smeared and dirty looking. So, I sent it back and yesterday I received my replacement. Exactly the same as the one I sent back. So, do I send it back again, more inconvenience for me. QVC, my advice to you, pay attention and get your act together.!!!

I think these are a great find. Definately not like
anything I have seen before. I purchased the Salmon.
I would love to see the Pirate come back for Rose
of Tralee. I missed out on that one and would love
to purchase it.
Thank you for all the hard work and special labor
of love your family put in to all of these for us.
Keep them coming please.

Very bright & shiny! Really catches the eye. It's a good thing they included the story of "The Salmon of Knowledge" because I keep getting asked if I'm a Pisces. When I say no, I have to explain the legend behind the fish.
I love the design, but the gold fish scale details are next to impossible to see, as is the tiny blue topaz eye of the fish. Not a show stopper though because the intricate silverwork is exceptional.

I purchased the Children of Lir pendant a year ago and wear it often. I get many compliments and it's a good conversation starter. I love the legend of the swans. The pendant falls mid chest so it's perfect with low or V-neck tops. It has retained it's luster with no tarnishing. One of my favorite pieces of jewelry. I love it.

I saw this during one of the Irish shows but was not prepared for how much prettier it turned out to be in person. The silver is substantial, not easily bent out of shape. The image is easy to discern even with older eyes! How on earth did they make it so it doesn't lose its shine? All in all, well worth the price I paid for it and then some. I would highly recommend the Pirate Queen as a gift, especially if you tell the recipient the story of Grace O'Malley. The library has books about her unusual life that will add to the appreciation of the necklace!
Rated 3 out of 5 by aann Pendant Queen Lovely but Gift Box Not
The writing in the gift box was all smudged...it would have been nice to give this in the original Irish box with the company name, etc. but the ink that had been stamped was blurred and blotches of ink all over the inside cover. I hope next year someone will check the boxes.

Gorgeous! I bought this because our heritage is Irish, my grown daughter loves anything "Pirate," and the profile of the Irish Pirate Queen looks just like her! She couldn't have been more pleased! The workmanship is beautiful, too. It is not flimsy at all. Love it!

If you love all things Irish this is a great find! Grace O'Malley was a 16th century pirate! This necklace is really lovely ~ sterling silver with gold accents. I am always looking for something a little "different" in jewellery and this hits the mark. I do wish the chain was a little heavier and longer but I am sure I can put the pendant on another chain if need be.
It's a great addition to my Irish collection and it will be great to wear it to our Annual Grace O'Malley Day Celebration!! (yes we do celebrate her)
