JMH Jewellery Sterling Silver Halo Ring with Trinity Knot Detail
This is a very pretty ring, however, in my opinion it is more of a ring for a very petite person or a teenager. I returned this item
Stunningly Beautiful Ring!
I'm so thrilled to have gotten this ring. I would have preferred the blue topaz but didn't want to chance being on waitlist and maybe not getting it so I go the garnet size 7 while it was still available. It is a stunner and I'm so thrilled I got it on Easy Does It Day! The stone is the perfect size for me...a bit small which is how I like my rings. Big ones just aren't as attractive on my hands as a smaller stone. It is so beautiful and I see it definitely being one of my new favorites and one I'll be wearing a lot!! I'm so glad I got one before it was gone!!
this is a pretty ring with a quality garnet. the setting is high, good color stone and I like the trinity knot symbol because it means something to me based on my faith. I am on waitlist for the peridot as well, hope it comes back in stock and I don't miss out!!!
I ordered this for it's Celtic design, and got a lovely, clear, grass green peridot as well.Great workmanship and silver weight.A New favourite...
Perfect in peridot
The peridot stone in this ring is gorgeous. At this price point, I was expecting a little chip of stone with a washed-out, barely green color. The peridot is actually a perfect, rich shade of green. The white topaz stones are extremely tiny, but they add just a bit of flash from far away. They could easily be mistaken for very believable diamond accents. The gallery of the ring is a bit high (approx. 5/8"), so if you don't like to be aware of your jewelry and prefer to forget that you're wearing it, this one may not be for you. The trinity knot design is very well done, and adds a subtle Celtic flair. Overall, I adore this ring. I have waited years to purchase my birthstone ring, and could never find one that wasn't over-the-top gaudy or too plain or too washed out. I recently fulfilled a lifelong dream to visit the Emerald Isle, and it was the best three weeks of my life. I fell in love with Ireland, and upon my return, I wanted to treat myself to a nice Irish-made piece of jewelry to commemorate the trip. I happened to stumble across this ring on the QVC site and decided to take a chance. I have to say, this ring is perfect for my taste. It is classy and beautiful, not gaudy and pretentious. The high gallery is not cumbersome, and it allows more light to reach the bottoms of the gemstones, which enhances their sparkle. I am thrilled to have finally found a birthstone ring that is made with quality materials in such a lovely design. The trinity knots tie it together for me as a subtle reminder of my Irish heritage and the island that feels like home.
I ordered this ring with the garnet. It arrived today. Yes, it sits high but not so high that can find fault. The trinity knot detail is intricate. This ring is a true symbol of Ireland.
SENT IT BACK
I SENT THIS RING BACK BECAUSE FOR ME THE SETTING SET UP TO HIGH AND THE WHITE TOPAZE WERE TO SMALL. OTHERWISE I WOULD HAVE KEPT IT.
Love this ring, the sparkle, design. Perfect addition to dress up an outfit or to wear every day.
I have had this garnet ring on my wish list for over a year & it's worth the wait!! I LOVE the height on this ring - a very unique, lightweight, & sparkling presentation! I've worn it to work every day this week & received many compliments - one lady said at first she thought it was a chocolate diamond. :-) I appreciate QVC's fine selection of jewelry & I've been a QVC member since 1988.
Beautiful but Too High
If only this was lower! The overall design is so pretty but it's so high up that I couldn't overlook it. From the side and above it's beautiful because of the trinity knots and the stones. The peridot color is rich and the white topaz is so sparkly . The raised structure underneath is unattractive. Whenever I saw it, (driving with the steering wheel or writing for example) I kept wanting to push it down so I could appreciate everything else about it. Ugh. I really wanted to keep this but I couldn't. Please make a lower version!
A must-have heirloom piece of Irish jewelry!
I bought this ring to replace the garnet Claddagh ring I bought in 1999 from the St. Patrick's Day show that Sinead Flood brought to QVC. It was my favorite ring; the amount of sterling was substantial (not like today) and the quality of the garnet was really good. I no longer have that ring and, since, I've been looking to replace it. ALthough not the Claddagh I expected I would buy, this, instead, it really lovely and had the same Irish sentiment attached, for which I cherished in the other ring. Eve H. has brought to QVC in this Halo Ring a BEAUTIFUL rendition of the Trinity knot, topped by a high-quality garnet (the one I bought) surrounded by sparkling white topaz. Not a phony or synthetic thing about this exquisite ring! I like, too, the "Ireland" is clearly marked inside the ring. (I'm sooo Irish!) I live things which remind me of my Irish heritage. The only "down" side to this ring (if one could even call it that) is that it sits just a tad too high. I would have preferred the ring to be set about half as high. But it's definitely a keeper and I would not hesitate to recommend this gorgeous and very well-made to anyone. I hope she brings us more this next Irish holiday of her brother's fabulous designs! Thank you so much, Eve, for this bit of beautiful Irish heritage in jewelry! I know I will get many years of enjoyment out of this ring.
I recently got married in Ireland (best destination ever) and purchased two of these rings in peridot for my bridesmaids. I searched the Internet high and low for an authentic yet appropriate gift, and found myself returning to QVC. Their selection and pricing in regards to all things Irish is unbeatable! The rings come nicely gift boxed and subtly incorporate Irish inspiration through the Celtic trinity knots which present the gems. A little treasure from the Emerald Isle indeed! Kudos QVC!
