"Disposable"
Everyone has memories of the one earring wardrobe. Well this is one for the memory book. Beautiful to look at in the black. But, historically, I've purchased several hoop style earrings for QVC and found one of the pair to have a defective clasp. Eight times out of ten I noticed it and returned for refund. The jokes on me this time. Tried 'em on and fell in love. First time out to show them off and arrived missing one earring. Struggling with whether to buy again, (which would mean paying double for ultimately 3 earrings rather then 4). So..if you're a betting person, go for it, but be prepared to lose. Maybe consider buying 2 pair if reduced shipping is offered (buy more & save option) and just pick the ones that work and DISPOSE of the defective ones right away. You won't save $$ but u might spare ur self some grief due loss.

Flimsy Clasps made of inferior material.
I love the design, and I bought all 4 colors to go with my snake neclaces. All 4 will be going back. $80 earrings, and I have to be afraid of losing them??? The clasps cannot be tightened. They are made of a cheap, soft alloy, which bends so easily, it will not hold its shape. The design is very attractive, but this is too $$$ to lose, because the clasp opens. Shame.

Stunning
These earrings are absolutely beautiful. The design is very unique. And they have a good weight to them. Not flimsy at all. Unfortunately, I did not pay attention to how big these earrings are, and for me they are too large. I prefer 1" or smaller. If they made these in a smaller diameter, I would buy them in all 4 colors. If you like a bold presence on your ears, then you will love these.
