It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer with Collagen & Brush
I unfortunately have dark circles. I've tried many concealers, I ordered this and I'm liking it a lot! I've been using real deal by Laura Geller and I like that one a lot also. Just wanted to try something new.. it does what it says and so far so good! I also ordered the celebration foundation and I'm very pleased with that as well. It covers and it's not to heavy or chalky for me. The brushes are out of this world.
good natural coverage
Good covering dark under eye. I am 71 and have good complexion. Recommend to my friends who need to cover bad spots on face.
This product is ALL that and more... I'm so excited that I took the leap of faith and made the purchase... my new little friend that I will never leave home without :-)
I like this product but don't LOVE.
It creases under my eye even if I set with powder. I can apply less product but then the coverage will not be the same.
Once I blot the creased product I am set for the day.
Tube HALF FULL.
I love bye bye under eye and have used it many times before. I ordered this product and when I went to use it squeezed in the middle of the tube. NOTHING. Tried to push it up from the middle to the top, TUBE EMPTY. My tube had product in he bottom 1/2. Not ok. It is going back. This is an expensive product and certainly not worth it if you only get 1/2.
I have purchased a lot of different ones, i.e., Laura Geller, BE, and Mally, but this is the best one that doesn't show any fine lines, in my opinion, and has you looking wide awake and young. The BRUSH is the cherry on top, as always, these are the BEST brushes!
Does the job
I'm 70 with good skin. I'm also cosmetic challenged...use very little make-up and am basically still using the drug store brands I used back in college. If it takes skill to use a product on my skin or hair, I simply won't do it--I leave that to my daughters and granddaughters. This concealer works well for me. It is a little thick, but a tiny pinprick dab does the circles under my eyes. The very smallest dab does both eyes. I use the flat brush to apply, then feather it with the fluffy brush. I never realized how important using the proper brush can be. Those small sponge-tipped eye shadow applicators you can buy at the grocery store--package of 8 applicators for a buck--also work well for applying. Concealer goes on a bit lighter than pictured. I have the tan, the same shade Jill Bauer uses. Glad I got that shade rather than medium. My hair is light brown, and I have a medium complexion with yellow undertones. This also nicely covers a couple light brown spots on my skin as well as a tiny pink scar from having a pre-cancerous spot removed. Stays put all day and doesn't crease on me.
The color has changed - What happened?
What happened to the color of this concealer? I am an African-American women of medium (A-A medium) complexion and ordered this concealer in Deep (I think my complexion is very close/almost identical to the Wen model - I believe her name is Aisha). The color of this concealer is substanially lighter than it use to be. I have ordered this concealer in Deep numerous times. I have probably order it, as long as long as it has been offered on QVC (was previously on auto-delivery- stopped because I had so many of the smaller tubes). The color was previously perfect for me. I use this product almost everyday, as both an under eye concealer and light foundation when I'm in a rush (which is normally most workdays). I was getting very low on the product, so when the supersize was offered, I thought it would be great for me.
I don't know why the color has changed - I noticed the color change in a previous "It Cosmetic" boxed set that offered the supersized concealer. I attributed the color difference to the boxed set concealer having an added SPF - I attributed the difference to the different formulation (sent the entire boxed set back & cancelled my auto-delivery).
Now, I see that the color difference was not attributable to the added SPF. To the best of my knowledge this supersize version is suppose to be the same product as the smaller tubes, so the color should be identical.
In order to use the supersize concealer w/o looking like a reverse raccoon, I have to cover it up with another foundation and blend very well. This process takes way too much time and is not cost efficient.
As an African-American women it is very difficult to find a concealer or foundation to match my complexion. The "Deep" color varies drastically by product lines/manufacturers. But, it should not vary on the same product.
QVC & Jamie - Why is the color different? What happened? Please go back to the original "Deep" color.
This has great coverage but is a terrible under eye concealer. It is extremely thick and tacky. You definatly have to set this with a powder because it never dries. It settles into every fine line and appears cakey on the skin. i would maybe recommend for blemishes instead but you dont get much of a variety with color Which is also disappointing.
under the eye concealer
I LOVE THIS I USE IT ALL OVER MY FACE THIS IS THE BEST I DO NOT USE POWDER I ONLY USE THIS EVERY DAY ON MY FACE .
I think this product works really well with the brush. I wish I would have got the lightest shade but it still works nicely. It is really moisturizing and it does not tug on skin to much when applying. Overall I do like this product but I have slightly oily skin so I have to set it with some powder so I don't get oily around the nose area.
I bought this product in Deep to help cover a wax burn mark above my lip. I am African American with a medium complexion and the deep was way too light. Not only could u see the burn mark but the cream did not blend into my skin at all. It seemed like it was 3 shades too light. I don't know how this could be called deep. I have used "deep" in other cosmetic lines (Laura gellar, bare minerals, etc.) and always have flawless coverage. I sent this back. Such a waste.
