I had ordered an Isaac dress in the summer that had to be returned because it was cut very small so I knew to order up on this jacket. I did order up 2 sizes and it still was too small. Very disappointed because it is a very nice weighted, substantial, well made jacket. Sizing cut is just too small. Not woman sized. Going back.

Jacket is beautiful but sizing is way off. Ordered a size 12, but the sleeves are too tight and there is no give in the body. The plaids do not line up I am disappointed that Isaac would allow something this mis matched to be sold under his name. Sending it back. Sick of paying high shipping costs to send back items.

I LOOKED CLOSER...ONE SIDE SEAM ALMOST MATCHES UP THE PLAIDS BUT THE LEFT SIDE DOESN'T EVEN TRY ...THE CUFFS/SLEEVES HAVE PLAIDS AT THE CUFFS ALL CROOKED AND ... UNMATCHED... COULD HAVE BEEN A SHARP JACKET AND I WILL BE RETURNING IT...ISAAC PAY ATTENTION...I KNOW YOU WOULD NOT WEAR AN ITEM LIKE THIS...

Thanks to all the other reviewers, I knew I needed to order a larger size than I usually do in this blazer. I ordered up two sizes from what I normally wear. At QVC (where they flatter us) I typically wear a large, 14 or even a medium. In the rest of the fashion world I more typically wear a 14/16 or xl. I ordered this jacket in both colors in an 18. I might have been able to wear the 16, but I certainly wouldn't have room under it for anything more than a silk shell. Also, I'm tall (5'9.5") and the sleeves would be even better for me if they were 1/2" longer, but that is being extremely picky and I usually push my sleeves up anyway. The 18 was the right choice, but enough about sizing.
This is a traditional blazer, and it's fabrication is quite heavy. For me, in central California, it will function as all I really need for outerwear. I'll wear it from late fall through early spring, except when I travel to less mild climates. Even though it is primarily polyester and acrylic, it looks to me like a fine wool blazer. The inside is beautifully finished and the slight shoulder padding gives it a structured look and helps make my middle look slimmer. The blue blazer in particular I would call denim friendly, and so I can wear it with skirts or pants for a suited look, or jeans for a casual chic look. Overall, I'm very happy with these blazers and recommend them if you order up a size or two.

I wanted to love this jacket but even my bigger size was way too small. It is lovely but I just can't wear it.

The quality is typical Isaac, great fit in shoulders, sleeve length, I ordered up (16) because it said semi fitted which usually works well. I just can't move my arms. There is no give across the back and it tugs at the top of the arms. I am really bummed.

I wear a small in tops in LOGO and most everything else on QVC. I usually wear a medium in Isaac. Thanks to the measurements on the website and the reviews about sizing up, I ordered a 14 in this jacket and it fits well. It is perhaps a tiny bit large in the waist but anything smaller would not have fit my hips. That being said, this is a beautiful jacket. I ordered it in the teal which makes a traditional blazer much more hip. This is also a bit longer than most of the jackets which I love because I am 5'10". I highly recommend this blazer if you size up a bit.
