Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pima Tee This is a wonderful tee shirt. The Pima cotton fabric is soft and feels great on. The fit's true to size, it washes beautifully and is virtually wrinkle free if taken out of the dryer when it goes off. I hope Isaac brings back the ones currently out of stock and more colors for us.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love love love These are fantastic T-shirts. The fabric is thick but not heavy and so silky that you just want to stroke it. It feels like baby clothing fabric. I appreciate that they do not have a plunging neckline. They do shrink VERY SLIGHTLY, but only if you don't completely dry them in the machine. Complete drying on high (hot) will probably shrink them more, so don't do it! But Ladies, get a clue on caring for your clothing. The reviews of these fabrics shrinking and pilling are most likely from people who don't give any special care to their clothing. These are not work clothes that can be just thrown into the w/d without thought. Wash your stuff separately, don't us detergent or hot water (I use soap not detergent or a washing soda, after all you're not out there digging ditches and getting all sweaty) -- take CARE of it and it will stay nice and last a long time!!! NEED MORE COLORS!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! Does not shrink... I was a fan of Isaac's other essentials -- the NON-pima ones -- until I started washing them. I was terribly disappointed. Not one or two but virtually all the non-pima ones I have (both "v" and crewneck, both short- and long-sleeved) grew in terms of width but shrank in terms of collar to bottom hem. So I was left with tees that, by the 8th or 9th washing, could fit two of me in terms of girth but that were a good 3" shorter than the first time I wore them. I'm 5'8.5" tall and weigh about 180, so that is saying something! I am short-waisted, too, so if the shirt shrank enough for me to be uncomfortable wearing it in public because it would pull out of the top of my pants if I sat down or bent over, the problem was severe. And this killed me because the shirts were so thick and lovely in terms of construction. If they were towels, one would term them "thirsty." I had to make myself a vow: no more of those tees in any incarnation, as they were just a waste of money. I saw many presentations for the pima cotton tees and thought "Geez, there are those tees that I cannot order again...darn! Those are nice colors and I like that bottom curved hem!" One night as I was getting ready for bed, Isaac came on with these Pima shirts and I went to the closet and snagged one of the remaining non-pima essentials that I still have (the others I gave away after they got too wide). Lo and behold! The item number on the tag in the shirt I had did not match the item number on air. I went back downstairs, got the computer, yadda yadda... I realized that there are Pima essentials and then (regular) essentials. If you are reading this and you have experienced the shrinkage issue that totally bummed me out w/ the non-pimas, be aware that this PIMA line is really, really better. I ordered the royal blue and the aqua colors of this shirt. I got them right before a trip to Savannah about a month ago (today is 12 Aug 17). When I was in GA, I plucked the royal blue one out of my suitcase and thought "well, we'll give this one a try with these shorts over here today" and on went both items. The temp got to 94 that day and the humidity was awful. My better half and I visited a number of squares, the cotton exchange, took a tour led by an architect, took lots of pictures, went to E Shaver's bookstore (cute and I loved seeing their cats) got caught in a downpour in midafternoon, toured at least three historic homes (love the gift shop at the Mercer-Williams house), and more. I was somehow not terribly bothered by the heat (although it was very sticky) and marveled at how I could have been relatively comfortable in a shirt that I was sure had to contain something other than just cotton because it was so silky and smooth in texture. I looked at the tag when I went back to the hotel to change for dinner and saw that it was mostly PIMA cotton and 20% other cotton! No poly! No rayon! No silk! Just cotton. Now things started making sense. It gets better. When I got to my relatives' place several days later, I washed it. Usually at home, I only put things through the dryer on medium to low heat for about 10 min. and then hang up or dry flat. At my in-laws' house, I had to dry everything much longer in the dryer b/c of not having space to hang things. I thought about just putting that royal blue shirt in the dirty laundry bag and waiting until I got home a week later to wash it rather than lose it to shrinkage. But I wanted to wear it again and figured I would hang it over the towel bar in our bathroom if I needed to in order to preserve it. Well, it ended up going 100% dry via dryer and did not shrink!!! I was so delighted that I ordered two more in white (white was not avail in my size the night I ordered the first two). Recently, a TSV Isaac suede jacket was offered w/ matching PIMA long-sleeved tees in PIMA cotton (80%). I ordered three of the five colors right off the bat and will order the other two eventually, I'm sure. If you have experienced problems w/ the "essentials" tees (crew, "v," or whatever), look back at your order history or check your tags. Were your items pima cotton? If not, try the pima. They don't shrink and they are fabulously comfortable. If they were, I don't have an answer but I know my pima items have not shrunk and those are the only type I will order from now on. I find them true to size and worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like Silk I thought I knew what Pima cotton was all about. When I received this tee it feels like silk My hope is that after a wash it will still feel the same. On an another item. I love Isaac's shoes, but the neat shoes only come in a medium. Please make available shoes in a wide. I'd like to buy your shoes.
