Beautiful silk
The fabric, silk weight and blue print on this dress is simply fabulous - especially for the sale price. This dress fit me well, but I can see where the fit might now work for some (per some reviews). Not every style can possibly work for everyone. I will belt the dress to highlight my small high waist. I am a size 12 (size M in QVC's vanity size Denim and Co). I am 34DDD, small waisted, 5'6" and a bit short waisted. So the shorter waist worked for me...even though I am not petite. I think Isaac's intention was to create a drape effect with the fabric at the bust line / high waist. Very feminine and works beautifully for me. Ordering the other color...and hope it's as nice.

Send this dress to someone you do NOT like.
OhMiGoodness.. where to begin? Everything about this dress is bad except the fabric.
Don't buy it no matter how low the price. Waist too high, bust area is crazy, length is mid thigh and hangs crooked.
Bought the 18W thinking I could alter it to fit.. impossible.

Too short waisted!
I agree with many of the other reviews. Ordered size 2 (my regular IM size) in both colors. Just got it today and the colors are just beautiful as is the material and construction of the dress. What is really off is the waist band. Made for a short waisted or petite person, not for a 5'8" person like me. Looks like a baby doll outfit the waist band is so high on me. I really wanted these dresses to work , especially the blue combo, but unfortunately sending both back...

Gorgeous fabric and print
Oh how I wanted to keep this dress. The silk is luscious and the blue/green/purple print amazing. However, the fit is way off. The dress made me look chubby with wide hips and yet the waist was too tight. All in all, it was a very uncomfortable fit. I wish I didnt have to send it back, but I will never wear an uncomfortable dress that makes me look chubby. I think if you are very thin, this might work for you.

Gorgeous!
OK, I'm 5'8", 125 lbs & look good in clothes. But this looked better on than shown on the models (they must be taller). Well made, high-end details, beautiful fabric! Conservative enough to wear to work on a hot summer day, pretty enough for a special occasion, sexy enough for a date. And I got it half off - what a deal! I look good in cool colors, so got the blue. I tend to do well on QVC, but this is one of my better buys. I can see how the construction in the middle might not flatter a big waist & hips; but if you have a good figure, you MUST get this!

Terrible loose fit
Returning this dress! Awful fit, baggy top plus odd bottom shaping. Not flattering @ all. Not my first I.M. dress. Even tried to belt it but hopeless :(

Sizing is Off
I love the dress itself. Material is beautiful and feels like quality material, the cut is good, however......... I normally wear a 10/12 so I ordered the 12, thinking I could belt it if the waist was too big- the entire dress was huge! Way off-size.
I've reordered it in a size 10 because it really is gorgeous I'm just hoping it isn't going to go opposite and be way small now.

bad fit
I returned mine asap, too. I am a size 6-8 and it made me look heavy around the stomach and hip area, which I am not. What happened with this one Isaac? I agree the fabric is beautiful, but that's about it.

Better than expected
Just received this dress along with the coordinating belt (seperate purchase). I was very much surprised by the quality of the material and the overall fit. I ordered a size 6 and it fit perfect. Not too much underarm shows so thats a plus. Really impressed with the added bra strap holder in the shoulders. Nice touch. The material is very soft and flows nicely. Colors are beautiful. You definitely need the belt. Not an attractive look without it. No laundry details in the dress, so check with the item description. I believe its hand wash and hang to dry. Lower half is lined. No pleating in the skirt, just gathering at the non elastic waist. Very high waisted. I was afraid of the waist thinking it would make you look heavy at the hips but not the case. Give it a try, I was pleasantly surprised.

Fit issues
Fabric is gorgeous, but this dress is way too small in the waist. I ordered my usual size and couldn't get it zipped. The surplice bodice in the next size would have gapped and drooped--it was just oddly proportioned, at least for me.

Beware! Odd fit alert
This dress has an odd fit. The waist is fitted, so be very careful wi/your measurements. The waist also sits high, so if you have midriff issues, they get pushed lower giving you a "hippy" look.(FYI - I wear a size 8 in IM! and ordered a sz 8) If I had sized up, the underarm area, which is already somewhat low, would sag down. I tried it with one of Issac's wide belts but it looked ridiculous from the back. No way to suceed with this dress unless you are very slender all over. On the plus side, the watercolor print is exquisite, and the silk is light as a feather. I gave it 2 stars for this reason. Only the skirt is lined, which keeps the garment cool but easy to wear and modest. Very well made but if you are thick thru the middle, give it a pass.

EGADS!
Very pretty material, but....this dress made my hips look a mile wide. I took it to the post office for return to QVC as soon as I took the dress off. I didn't even want it in my house.
