had to return
I had high hopes but these boots did not meet them so I had to return. I have a 15.5" calf and I hoped with the goring I could wear these boots. I could get them on and zip them up, but they were way too tight in the calf so I had to return them.

Best Boots Ever!!
I can't say enough good things about these boots!! Very pretty AND very comfortable!! I ordered the dark brown color and absolutely love them!! Great quality and style!!

Love The Boots!
I received these boots last week, and I was nervous about buying them since some reviews said not for larger calves. Thankfully they zipped right up over my 15 1/2 calves! I cannot wait to wear them this fall!! All smiles here.

Best Boots Ever!
These boots are amazing. The leather, the look, the quality....all outstanding. Not for those with thicker calves as I just made the zip!

As I do agree with many on this page the fit was tight the first day i wore them , almost cried when i could not put my foot in lol but was able to...after that they were a great fit, I have thick calf's were it is always hard for me to find boots, but i was able to zip up. I have gotten so many compliments that i plan on ordering them i black too. :) very satisfied customer..

Love these boots!
They're great! Love them. They are holding up very well since I wear them with everything, I also get lots of compliments. My Aunt is in love with Nordstrom and everything they have and paid almost $400 for a pair of boots that look almost identical and she prefers mine. I looked for a very long time and I'm glad I invested in these. LOVE these boots!

They are perfect
These boots are perfect! The leather is truly smooth, as their title suggests. The foot and toe box are sturdy and well made. There is plenty of room for my calves - in fact, about an inch extra - but they look great on, even with the extra room. They're just so classic - like riding boots in the equestrian magazines. Love 'em. Thanks, Isaac. The perfect black riding boots: check!

Gorgeous!
These boots are absolutely gorgeous! They definitely do not look cheap! However, sizing is a little off. I have a small foot and ankle and wear a size 6. I order a 6.5 due to reviews and it is definitely snug across my foot, but slips at my heel so a 7 would have been to big. They are also a little snug in the ankle area. I'm thinking they will stretch a little due to the fact they are leather. All in all though, these are really nice boots. Look great on! Wish I had the money to buy the other colors!

Fit was sloppy. Crumpled up at ankles in a large loose goofy kind of way, giving the appearance of elephants ankles, incredibly unflattering, making legs look like trunks, came up over half my knees making legs look funky, then tight around part of my calves while gapping out at both sides about two inches, weird. Quality of leather substandard at best. Paper thin bonded to paper I think, it actually crumpled like paper across toe box and at ankles after just walking down my hallway. The color was beautiful but that was about it. Sent them back same day I got them....I have a 31.5" inseam and average,just about 14" calves so I'm pretty easy to fit. I've never had a problem fitting boots so I think this designer is not for me. Weird fit. Poor quality.

Best Boots I've EVER Owned!!!
These boots are top quality. They fit like a glove and feel fantastic. I love the soft, polished leather. I'm having foot problems and have a very high arch. I am an 8.5 but went up to a 9 in these boots. I also ordered Wide in the color Black. I had no break-in period with them. I've never spent this much money on a pair of boots but feel like these are classics and will last me a lifetime. I consider them to be an investment. Thank you, Isaac! You've earned my trust.
