Honeywell 125-Pint Commercial Portable Evaporat ive Air Cooler is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from expensive fan, nothing more This cooler is garbage . The first one that I ordered was broke and QVC replaced it very quickly . The replacement works as it should .Humidity does affect the performance of an evaporative cooler, no argument. It is basically a $500.00 fan . I can set a Patton style fan next to the Honeywell and you cannot tell even the slightest bit of temperature change. I put ice and ice water in it and still no drop in temperature. Water pump and fan work fine, the cooling media stays wet with pump on and the fan blows fine it just does not cool the air even in the least bit . I bought this to put on my outdoor deck , didn't expect it to cool like an a/c but expected some temperature drop . I have had other evaporative coolers that did what they advertised on the same deck, in the same situation. Save your money and buy a better product . For the money I could have bought a much bigger fan . Junk, junk, junk ...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ahead of its time This product must be used in front of an open window. This poses a security issue for those of us who live on the ground floor. Think this compressor-free cooling system is the future- it is not refined enough as yet. Said to be great for those in the western portion of the US, not the Eastern seaboard where I live.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Portable evaporative cooler I have used this for 2 summers now, in Texas, and it is still going strong and keeping my place nice and cool. Definitely a good purchase and well worth it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed Today I received the portable evaporative air cooler. I was very disappointed , the cooler was not in the original box , no manual and the unit was all scratched up. I called Qvc telling them about the dilemma, customer service said to put the unit back in the box and they will have UPS come pick up the unit. They are going to send me another one in the original box. Thanks QVC!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Fan I received my fan on 6/6, it's BIG, larger than I thought. The air that comes out of this unit is GREAT, I can feel the coolness from across the room. It does take a lot of water to fill the unit up, but its very easy to move around. Waiting to put Ice in the top for extremely cold air on those super hot days. I am so glad that I purchased two of these. If your looking for something to cool off a large room ( and not have those hoses hanging out your window } then I suggest this.
